It is quite annoying when that little box regarding a suspicious activity is being detected on your account pops up. I mean, I know it is for those people who uses the search field just to earn rewards. But where else are we going to use it for? Of course, we'll use it for searching. I think they should specify a usage limit for that search engine so that we'll know at least if we are over using it. What's your take on this?

When it comes to searching for information I tend to be a little bit abnormal. I used to have several open reference books in front of me. This habit has carried over to the way I do a search on the Internet.
I have received the warning notification in the past. I was not annoyed because I realised that myLot needed some sort of protection against possible abuse.
It not easy to fing the best solution. Several sites have tried and failed. They include InterAdmrdia which used a timer (too much hassle), and Homepages Friends which set a limit to the number of searches a member can do per day.
What I do here is modify my search habits, along the lines drawn by several responders before me. So far so good.

Hello stuckonu,
It happened with me couple of time and the reason i realised is when we try to obtain cents from search engine delibartely the meassage appears.
Always search discussions from it and don't try to search cents from it.
I can't say if there is limited usage but thats for sure i have not received it twice in a day. May be they have limited it.

Well, somehow I afraid my account being suspended because of this issue
. I ever got the same message, even I already do a normal search. Now I really can't tell what's myLot's definition about "suspicious activity".
I am just hoping they wouldn't ban me just because of this issue
.
