if you will take a look from the grocery's shelves, you'll find in great array of instant noodles displayed in great volumes, you'll find them in different brand names and flavors, from regular to spicy, from chicken to pork or beef, and to seafood's flavor, and so forth and so on..you'll find people are so much in with eating instant noodles and many other instant food for they were easily done and prepared..but despite the good ads about them, instant food could not surpassed the wholeness and nutrition of a regular food from fresh vegetables and fresh meat and seafood. instant food contains large amount of salt and food chemicals as preservatives, and study shows that instant food could raise ones uric acids and other thing which is not good to ones health...my son who is very fond from eating instant noodles got sick and he's vomiting because of the over accumulations of these food chemicals and acids in his system which the body wants to get rid off..instant noodles is not a poisonous food but if you're taking so much and eating them every time. your taking into yourself great amount of salts and acid and msg and food flavoring that might be harmful to your body and health..i hope your not taking so much of this instant food..

Any ordinary person is unlikely to eat more than one packet per day. It is a snack, so it's hardly likely to be a major part of the diet. You are over exaggerating, or you are giving your son a very poor diet.

Although we already know that previously prepared food which come in the form of canned foods, instant foods, hotdogs, and the like are unhealthy, we still consume them. Then we find them to be not good to eat once their ill effects become evident because, we are starting to get sick due to too much consumption of them. A neighbor around here, had all of her children diagnosed with bad kidneys due to too much consumption of a certain brand of powdered juice drink. One of the kids in fact, had to have the kidneys operated on as the kidney stones were found to be too hard to break through use of lasers.

The best way to counteract toxic substances in unhealthy foods is to drink lots of water if you can't help eating them. We boil our hot dog instead of frying or grilling and drain them afterwards, it gets most of the red coloring out plus most of the preservatives are taken out when you throw away the water.

I don't think I could live without ramen. I know it's not completely healthy, and all that pasta is going to make me gain weight, but it's too good to give up. I usually only eat one, maybe two, packages a day. That, and we have two unemployed people living together, so we pretty much live on ramen, spaghetti-O's, and macaroni and cheese.

As I said, we don't have enough money to buy much else very often. We did have steak two days ago, with sides of corn... and macaroni.

The noodles themselves are fine. The spice pack isn't to healthy, but many foods aren't healthy. I lived on ramen noodles when I was younger because they were 10 for a dollar and I was dirt poor. I lived to tell about it. Now I only buy them a few times a year as an instant food that doesn't need cooking.

I heard it is not good for our kidney because of the salt they used in the noodles. I am not used to eating instant noodles but sometimes I crave for it usually during rainy days.

I don't think there is much difference between instant food and fast food. Although I do believe instant food is more healthy and has less calories. How much you can or should eat from that also depends on what you eat more. There are so many other kinds of food that are far of healty and even people who cook their own food can make a very unhealthy, salty meal too.

Thanks for the great reminder. I try to avoid eating instant noodles, but they are really very easy to prepare and when I'm too tired to cook, I eat instant noodles. Instant noodles are bad for the health. They contain high levels of sodium. An average person only needs 2000mg of sodium a day, which is approximately equivalent to one teaspoon. However, I've seen some instant noodles with over 1500mg of sodium! Imagine, if you ate two packs of noodles, then the sodium will exceed the daily requirement for sodium. So, whenever I eat instant noodles (because I do enjoy eating them), I do not use up all the flavorings from the packets. I just use half as much, and I don't drink the soup. Despite that, I always feel so dehydrated after eating a bowl of noodles.

I like noodles too especially because they are so easy to prepare. I feel the same way too, I could feel the sodium flowing in my veins too after eating. I feel very thirsty after eating a bowl of instant noodles. It's good that you don't drink the soup. Happy mylotting.

In my hometown, some students who live in the dormitories make it a habit to have instant noodles for breakfast. After sometime of doing such, a few of them have developed some stomach cancers, or ulcers, or some signs of food poisoning come to the offing. There was one or two who were identified to have had suffered deaths due to taking so much of these instant noodles. Instead of instant noodles, students could very easily have eggs and some rice for breakfast. With a rice cooker's help, having rice at hand will be no problem. Then a soft cooked whole egg can be have by washing it well and good through running water and then putting it ontop of the nearly cooked rice until the rice cooker goes tick off automatically.

In fact I like eating instant noodles because it tastes better. Although it seems it is not a very healthy food. But I think it is alright if we don't often eat it. I believe that the balanced diet is the best because it can make us adjust to the new food easily. I love China

Instant noodle - A cup a day keeps the doctor near
Yes indeed instant noodles is very unhealthy so I don't feed my family with instant noodles It is cheap, but tasty and filling but this does not mean it is good for our health. You are right it contain so much sodium, loaded with additives and preservatives that make it unfit for every day consumption. Once in a while it is okay perhaps if you have really no choice and you are really needing something to fill your hungry stomach but could not find anything else but cup noodles. This is the reason why I never really eat instant noodles. I prepare noodles at home but not the instant, You can never see instant noodles in my grocery cart. Never at all! I've always been a health advocate so never would I eat poisonous stuff like this.

I avoid such kind of foods, instant foods and instant noodles is one of the food that is not in my shelves. I always prepare foods for my kids and cooked it myself. It's not good to have instant food always, better buy a cooked food from restaurant than having instant noodles all the time. have a good day

Because it is cheap source of food, instant noodles have become part of the daily meals of poor families. In school, we teach parents who to make instant noodles nutritious by mixing some veggies and cooking it in a way that it will have the complete nutrients their kids need. A simple recipe of Mongo sprout mix with instant noodles contains the basic nutrients and energy supplies for growing kids.Parents only need to be creative and resourceful to make this instant noodle appropriate as daily foods.

I get your point but since people find it cheap to buy instant noodles than cook them longer and buy the ingredients expensively they are contented with the instant version and I admit so do I for practical reasons but from time to time I do cook those that are not instant ones.

anything that's too much is not good for you. even if it is not instant. my colleagues' dad doesnt eat or drink instant food but is now having health problems because the doctor says he has too much protein from eating fish and beef. He has now turned vegetarian to combat his health issues. If he ate intant noodles from time to time, he probably wouldnt have that problem

Yes, It find Instant noodles specially specially those which are dry noodles. All of those were so delicious and also cheat. I could say that I was once addicted into it much specially those with sweet and spicy flavor. When I had my review for the board exam, I ate instant noodles every break time with a cup of orange juice "so yummy". However, I knew that too much instant foods were bad for our thus I decided body to minimize my intake of instant noodles. If I ate 3-4 packs of noodles now,it is enough for me to eat only one pack. Having balance diet is very proper and vital in maintaining healthy body.

What you said is very true. Instant noodles contains a lot of salt, msg and other preservatives, which if taken in huge amounts can really destroy one's health. A lot of people may not know this and may have been used to eating a lot of instant noodles everyday since it's just very easy to prepare. That's nice of you to post this. Now, everyone will be more aware that instant foods can be harmful to the body since it contains a lot of preservatives and flavorings.
