Young and the Restless Stars on Ringer

I did notice both of those appearances on "Ringer." Seeing Michelle Stafford was a huge surprise -- I guess that may just have been a one-off appearance but it was fun seeing her show up randomly. I knew Billy Miller was going to be on the show ahead of time and I believe his role is going to be recurring. Since I haven't been following Y&R lately, "Ringer" is likely the only place I'll be seeing Michelle and Billy in the near future. CW is part-owned by CBS so I guess it's not such a stretch to see Y&R stars on Leslie Moonves' other network...hopefully there'll be more to come! If Michelle Stafford's Wikipedia entry is correct, both you and Michelle had birthdays last month so happy belated birthday!

I didn't see either one of these and have never heard of the show "Ringer". I have noticed that they do a lot of cameos on that network. I think that we will see Billy and Michelle on many other things as they are both talented actor/actress.

That is a good point. I didn't think of that. By the way, this discussion made me think of a former Young and Restless star who is now on The Bold and the Beautiful. Heather Tom, or is it Thom? Anyway, she used to play Victoria on Y&R as you already know of course. She'll be guest starring on an upcoming episode of Criminals Minds. This rang a bell for me because her actor siblings, Bicole and Billy Tom (the old Billy on Y&R) already guest starred a couple years ago on the show.

I find it interesting seeing actors from different shows doing guest or cameo appearances on other shows, normally in roles that have nothing to do with their role in the soap or show. That said I hope some other actors are able to do a little bit here or there. Ringer seems like one of those shows that will have a number of roles for characters that just do cameo or short roles so we may see more actors as time goes by. The actors already do little stints here and there. I remember a while back that Eric Braeden who plays Victor did a bit as Robin's father in How I met your mother, he was supposed to return for a cameo and cancelled the night before because it was only 2 lines and not enough that led to a little twitter buzz. For me really that good in the eyes of the people but in the eyes of Jehovah God it is not good because he want that we are good by serving him so be it.
