As we can see, Man City crushed United in Manchester derby with tremendous perfomance. Start with two of balotelli goals and his "contribution" to sent off Evans and reduce Man United to 10 Men..I think they deserved to win, Mancini has shows again his capability as one of the great coach nowadays..Fergie made two substitutes but still unable to help United and goal by goal from Aguero,Silva and dzenko occured..United crushed like a weak team..I know red card will be good reason but still City has lead before it happened..What do you think? do you think City deserved to be on top of the EPL table now?

I haven't seen the game and the result was very surprising to me. After seeing City against Bayern and after seeing how they struggle in the Champions League all in all, I though United will win this game, even if they are not in their best form neither. I think this is a "curse" from the Arsenal fans, who now feel a bit better seeing United demolished on the field where they were demolished also a few weeks ago.

I think this is a result which will be remembered, but it won't play a too high role in the forthcoming games, only at the game against City in the second part of the season. But those are professional players, and I think that they will not have this result in their head for too long.

I could not imagine to be demolished in derby match like that..Maybe you are right, It is curse from Arsenal fan when Man United really cruel demolished them 8-0..one thing for sure, this gonna be most attractive season, looking at the power of club are spreading in balance.

It was the biggest statement of the season. If Man United made a statement that Arsenal was done and dusted this season with a 8-3 win. Then Man City made the statement that the balance of power has shifted to the Blue side of Manchester!! It was an amazing display, of course helped by the sending off of Evans. But as I mentioned in another discussion, for the first time Man City went on the offensive in a big match instead of playing with two defensive midfielders and how it paid off. Of course, Balotelli was brilliant scoring the first two goals to start the rout. Two other players stood out for me in this match, David Silva and Micah Richards. I would fear to be in the Manchester United dressing room today with the hair dresser treatment coming up from Sir Alex. Cheers! Ram

Yes, De Gea was exposed completely yesterday. I think he is a decent goalkeeper but not in the same league as Van Der Saar. I would like to see how he emerges from this thrashing. Cheers! Ram

Well, you have good points..Arsenal able to survive after terrible start of the season..They are now crawling and close to big 5 again on the table.. Yes, three of them and also Aguero and Milner were playing really well..They have great motivation to be stay on top of table..I saw david platt on the bench, do you he give contribution for Mancini's team as well? Yes, what a bad hair they would looks like, especially defenders and De gea the goalkeeper, they looks like an amateur last night.

I'm a Man United fan and I never thought money can overcome talent even though it was for just a match...Well i must say Man City deserve this win..They played wel and linked up with each other brilliantly..Ya ..one can argue that if Evans was not red carded the result will be in favour of Man Utd.. No I dont think so ..May be Man Utd could have drawn the game maximum.. Man City deserve to win the match and the David Silva well he is the architect of the whole City attack..If he wasn't there on the filed maybe Man utd had a chance...

Well, you are right..I also think that City is deserved to win this derby, with or without red card of Evan, they had shown far better performance than Man United. I agreed that silva is one of the best players on this match, he is also key player and really important for mancini's team.

no wonder if balotelli "not sportive", he is player who use anything to win a big game like this. and I think Man UTD just unlucky. What if Evans doesn't sent off? 6-1 is on city dream if evans doesn't sent off.... lol I think not bad 10 men lose 6-1, what about arsenal? lol EPL not just one game, many game left after this big game. United often start "fire their engine little late" but this season they start well... just need constant on the track, winner mentality, and I think the citizen doesn't have it... lol lets wait......

Well, as we know ball is round and anything can be happened in football game. I think this kind of lost (at home) will be great lesson learnt for all Man United players and fans. I remember they still able win the league even though they always got beaten by Liverpool on last three seasons, so maybe it's just another game for sir Alex and team. The end of the day is more important, however City is leading by 5 points clear from Man United..hard season for sir Alex this time around.

I am very impressed by City's display. The worrying thing for the rest of the league is the strikers they have at their disposal. Aguero, Dzeko and Balotelli. All of them is among the top scorers. And we have not include a certain Carlos Tevez. In Silva, they have an early contender for player of the year award. From what they have shown so far, the top position is surely what they deserved.

Why ? it's impossible to beat MU with that score ?? I think thats usual because man city is a great team now
