Personal Posting Goals

Do you set a personal posting goal for either the day or the week or both? Do you look at your current post count and say "By the end of the week I'll have 100 more posts" or something like that? If you do, do you think it is helpful for you to stay active?
I want to get over 600 by the end of the week. It seems like a good place to start. I was inactive for a long time and I'm trying to get back into the habit of posting regularly.

I always try to post 25 answers every day, it's a goal and I earn decently from it, it just seems like it's something I can do that will help me earn a bit every time I come on here.

Its really good to set a goal in mylot then working active on mylot. It always keeps u stay and never let you sleep without achieving ur target. Im also same like u. If i had 600 points today i want to increase 20points everyday. May be its easy for me to stay active in mylot so sometimes i reach more than 20points. When we look after our points and make it up then our earnings also goes up daily.

hi serial mommy no no no I started that way and oh my g it paid hardly anything so I quit that and started doing more quality for each post then just participating like crazy, responding, commenting back on responses to my own discussions and co mmenting a lot on comments and keeping things going. never counted but the number rose dramatically and my earnings also rose so why
'count as I did not need to. I participated and I had fun and I enjoyed myself and I earned well.and am still doing so and look
at the number after my name. I am 84 and not too m any at my age can do what I have done. lol lol

I read and rate posts and comments. I've been doing MyLot for a long time so I know that how many times I post a day isn't all there is to the earning. I want to start posting some photos too, but the photo editing software is on the office computer and the office is an absolute mess so I hate going in there!

I'm never set targets when activity on MyLot. For me MyLot is a fun place to learn write English, mainly to learn grammar. So, when asked what my goal writing in MyLot, it certainly was not money, but my understanding of writing in English

hello serial mommy! i do have posting goals here in mylot. what i try to do is to post at least a discussion or two within a week. i really look forward to answering back to my discussions especially that my questions apply to my real life

Hi serialmommy! I am fairly new here in Mylot and right now, I set a range of how many post I need to accomplish. This helps me motivate myself into getting back to this site. Maybe when I have friends here number of posts won't count anymore.

Yes, I do set personal posting goals.
Like everyday, I must have posted at least
10 responses in a day. Sometimes
I set it to 50 posts in a day but that's hard
so I only did that once. It is very helpful for me
in staying active, it also helps me to earn more.
