Dear fellows... I just updated my new Avataar here. The previous one was Sherlock Holmes' representation in his cloth cap and the pipe with smoke curling from it. I have always been a big fan of Holmes. I've his complete collection written by Sir Doyle. I've read and re read them many times. In real life, I've tried to follow his methods, with varying success. That is what made me post his pic as my avataar... LoL... Change is the only constant thing in life and my avataar is no exception. This new avataar represents me thoroughly. Its a man walking through fog n dim light. He's alone but he is walking tall, with determination. His face isn't visible, because he prefers to remain in shadow and work silently... His loneliness might bother him, but he means to keep it to himself only... That is what my Avataar says... What about yours? What does it stand for? Why did you pick on that??? Please share....

That is very nice to listen to your avtar and urself ,how both are co related to each other. Many things we do have some or other way of impact and show what we are in such deeds. It is said that according to handwriting u can say what kind of person he or she is. And the images of the work we do can tell what kind of person we are.

Oh yes, I'm kind of too something in such matters.. So I make sure that my avatar will represent me only. Yes, its true about the handwriting, but the reader should be an expert in that field. Uma, you forgot to tell us about your avataar...!??!

Sometimes i like to place the group of people as it an be felt as mylot discussions and sometimes i like to place some pleasant scenary. This one which i had as my image for avtar is my lucky digit. So just like to feel the luck i placed it. Anyways i dont say that im very particular about all those numerology and astrology however when some one elders say ,what is wrong in following .

My avatar will Never change. It is my all time favorite symbol. It is the key signature violins play in. The blue background is my favorite color. And it is silver which I like instead of gold. It is me. It says more than Any other picture could. I'm glad you explained your avatar. When I first saw it , I thought you were in a low and sad place. A man alone, totally alone. Now I can see he is alone but is hopeful. I'm so glad! Never lose hope.

Hi Sarah, thanks for sharing the idea behind your avataar. My avataar shows a lonely fellow, but look the way he's walking. Strong and confident... :-)

An optimist could see this picture this way. It is a man coming out of the fog into the light! this is how my guy would have seen it!

My avatar is always a picture taken in my last vacations. It helps mr to remind me that my vacations are a result of my work online. But I also place them there because they mean happy moments of my life. My last avatar was a picture taken in Aruba last March. In fact I have changed it a couple of times as I took many pictures there and they are very nice. I don´t mind showing my face although my avatar does not necesarilly have to be a picture of mysrlf.

I have always thought that vacations are part of health. If I don´t earn much, I go to a place that is nearer my home. Probably this year, if all goes well, I will be able to travel near where I am. I have been on chemo for almost 6 months and that means money, even is a lot is paid by the government and insurances. But still, my economies are not as good as last years´s. Still, I´m thinking of vacations as soon as the doctor allows me to go.

My avatar is my favorite shinobi sensei (ninja teacher) from the anime Naruto. He's cool and a bit laid-back, but he's really good and smart. Unfortunately, since he's a guy, people here tend to think I'm a guy, too. No, I'm a girl.

That's right. I'm an adult who's obsessed with this anime. Well, I think that the series is philosophic sometimes. It's a pity, though, that the kids who watch it might not be able to get them the way adults do. BTW, I like the mystery in your avatar.

Hi mr_pearl! My avatar is actually an anime character. Her name is Yomiko Readman. She is a part of the Read or Die series. Yomiko loves to read and collect books. She has a special power of turning papers into weapons and special things. I've been using her picture as my picture ever since year 2005. Just like Yomiko, I also love to read and I also collect books. How I wish I could make a real flying carpet out of papers too so I can travel the world :)

Haha! I actually saw it in Aladdin =P The version in Read or Die is actually a big dragon like character. Yomiko made one in order to escape from the bad guys =) Btw, I imagine Freddy Krueger and Jason Vorhees from your avatar. :S Maybe it's because of the Halloween season.. Hehe, but the mist is actually really nice :)

hi mrpearl my avatar is always a graphic I made myself and I think it stands for love of color and design and a passion for perfection in that I have not been really thrilled with many I make as I want beauty in design and colors that go together and make people feel cheered not sad.

My avatar certainly doesn't represent me at all. WHile she's fair and tall, pretty with a sweet smile, i'm nothing like her. I'm the complete opposite, tann and short, cute but aggressive. My opinion of having an avatar is to reflect someone i'm not to be. I want something different because it's boring to see ourselves in everywhere we go. Just to quote from a book i read, "An idea merely existing in the region of possibility is replaced by a vision of its accomplishment". There comes my avatar.

Yes, human mind tends to do such things... Strive to be the one we want to be!!! Thanks again, this really adds something to the matter at hand...

Mine is my picture when I was in Hong Kong. That was taken last 2009. I really treasure this picture because that was the first time that I travelled abroad.

Im not interested to put another picture as my avatar which portrays something. I simply uploaded my face pic as my avatar. As its mean that every one should know who is naseemkum and how he looks. I think some people feared to expose themselves so they are not interested to post their name or pictures in their account.
