I used to be an editor-in-chief of our school paper back in high-school years. Since then i have been collecting my pieces. From poems to features and also collecting songs. When i got my first Desktop Computer, i started to save all of my works to the computer. Last year, i counted my pieces and reached to 97 poems and features which spanned for 13 years of collection. The sad part is, because the computer was also 14 years old, it came to a point that the memory got corrupted. I consulted an IT expert and told me that computer hard disks would "normally" age too. Thats what happened which erased all of my files. And it cant be recovered anymore. I wished that i kept a hard copy or printed my pieces and compiled it.

Believe me, I understand. I've never had a computer fail me, but changing computers has lost me some things that I wish I still had. Some things can never be rewritten the way they were, no matter how well we remember them.
