Do you respond to a discussion if you know that it will get deleted eventually?

Before I respond to any discussion I saw interesting but now I chose discussions that I think won't get deleted and try my best to avoid responding to discussions that violate mylot guidelines. It's quite a waste if I respond to a discussion then it will get deleted of course. Not only our time but some of our earnings too are wasted. So better avoid discussions that violate mylot guidelines specially discussions with referral links or related to a members achievement here at mylot.

sometimes i do. just because of two things; 1) for the fun of doing it, and 2) and honestly, i sometimes don't know which discussions violated the rules or not.LOL

@evan You got a point there. Sometimes I myself don't know if a discussion already violates the rule. But as much as possible I avoid those discussions are I know will get deleted soon. I just think that it's kind of waste of time specially if I get a notification in my email from mylot that says they deleted my comment.

Yes I do several times a day and do try to place enough in my response to allow the member to hopefully get the notifier in their email of my response, so they are aware of what to avoid in the future with their discussions. I really do not mind as the money is not a big loss, and my thoughts are that if anyone can help those who are continually and erroneously posting violations then it might then refrain from members leaving. I do have the time to be able to be here, so I am not worried about deletions. I can understand those who are here specifically for earnings and or are limited with time, so it would not be wise to continue to do so for them.

Hi Jacruz! Sometimes I still respond to a discussion even if I know it will be deleted. It's just that, I can't stop myself from sharing my experience or my point of view. And sometimes, I just don't know that if it's violating a myLot guideline or something. But I don't feel that it's a waste of time because I get to spit out what I think.

I often give advice to newbies, when sensing that they will get their posts deleted because they have not read the site´s rules. I know that the post will be deleted with ny answer included, but if I can help I don´t mind.

There are some good Samaritans who do that even though they know that the topic will be deleted. They do it just to help out and mostly it is the newbies that start topics that will be finally deleted. I do not do it. I am not a good Samaritan!

previously i was doing that means responding to discussion not seeing violation to the terms of mylot. As i had seen that the discusison will be deleted and our earnign will becom negative means decrease i stopped responding to such discussions. Why should we encourage to those discussion which violate the terms of mylot. Why should we be in trouble.

I sometimes do, since I am not really sure if it will really get deleted and I think the sure really needs help or advice.. it still makes me disappointed though if ever that discussion gets deleted.

I have responded to one discussion i know that could be deleted eventually. I have to respond because i just would like my opinion expressed over the matter. What is important is that i was able to say my piece. But after that, i am careful of what i respond to. However, sometimes i still get a notification , that a responded topic was deleted.

Well, I answered discussion which I like. Though some were deleted later, at least it was read by the author of the discussion. I just don't mind so much about it as long as I am interested and I can respond to it.

Yeah I also try to do that. For me, it's just a waste of time to reply something and then you still know that it's going to be deleted. I try to see that all the discussions I reply to does not violate mylot's guidelines.

I do. Simply because I want to give out my opinion and secondly, I am not sure of which one will be deleted. Sometimes, I usually wonder why some topic are deleted even though they are not offending to anyone.

I used to, but I do not do it much any more, although I will still do it from time to time. I used to try to help newer users that had not read the Guidelines or did not understand them, so they would not get frustrated with a bunch of deletions and quit before giving this site a good try. I do not have as much time to spend here anymore, though, so I only respond to a few discussions per day and most of them are not violations. With the recent slowness of the site, I have barely been responding to anything, so I have even less time to reply to something I know will be deleted.

I don't mind if it gets deleted as long as I could answer discussion that I am interested to. Like some people who ask questions about rules and regulations here on mylot, it is fun answering them with stupid answers knowing it would get deleted 100%. Sometimes I could help them but the obvious cannot get anymore obvious so just make fun with it rather than being angry that there are people like that lurking around and using mylot in a different and non-appreciative manner :)

deleted or not.... whatever we post or reply comment here, the whole world of Internet Users are watching, reading, and participating.... my intention is for the massive internet users that can read and analyzed my reply comment before the type of discussion becomes deleted.... so, the very imported is we share or contributed information's based on what we already know and what we learned for other smart users.... either someone agree or disagree, at least, they already read, analyze, before deleted....
