Fixed match results

Does someone ever tried to play and place bets on fixed matches? I know people who are selling such information to others and earning a lot of money this way. Any ideas?

I'm in no way endorsing match fixes, but my guess is "the people who are selling such information" aren't what they say they are. I bet they're selling bad information...it's a lot easier to say such and such match is going to be fixed than to actually bribe officials, players, etc to make it happen. There's also no reason they'd want to sell the information rather than keep it quiet and profit it from it themselves; they have to know that the more people that know the match is fixed the more likely the scheme is to be discovered and shut down.

But what about football Italian A league where Milan i think was forced to go down to minor league because of accusations in fixed matches?
Also i think that it is possible maybe not in the major leagues, but in country local leagues. Ah, my own country tram in football last year player two matches in Turkey where all three referee of those matches where accused.

Yeah, match fixing definitely happens from time to time...I'm not disputing that. It's just that the people who are profiting from it are mainly in organized crime or are insiders with big money. It doesn't make sense that someone who could make thousands from betting on fixed matches would turn around and sell that information cheaply when he knows that the more people who are aware of the scheme the more likely it is to be shut down. You can't really expect people to deal with you honestly in a dishonest business, right?

Yeah, i totally agree with you! Sport is only for those who are for fair play not for cheating, but match results fixing is high level cheating.
