its such a pain in the neck when your co worker or colleague likes to complain about you to your boss.. and because of this back stabbers at work, you might probably lose your job.. politics at workplace should be avoided at all cost.. they talk nice in front of you, but behind your back. god knows..

I think this is true in any organization these days. Once you start moving up the value chain you start seeing more and more of this. The higher you go, the lesser the opportunities and more the politics. Of course, that is really bad, but that is how some individuals feel they can grow!! Cheers! Ram

well, this kind of attitude can cause hatred at workplace, especially when all the bad gossips start to come out..

I had been a victim of office politics several times. And because of it, I had to leave jobs, which I like. I don't want complications while doing my job. I just wish that I find work where I am really interest with and can do it with peace. Have a nice day!

I hate it also. They are frightened that they will be left behind if you success on what you do so they tend to make some bad statement about you so that if ever they succeed, they will have a chance for a good promotion because you can no longer compete with them. Just do what you need to do. And do only right. Karma don't know anything about politics and will hunt those who is not fair to compete

the get promoted by back stabbing other people not by performing at work.. they work less and talk more.. poking their noses in everyone's business..
