Yes, Marcus Bent has now signed up for an Indonesian club. I think it is a good move for both the player and the club. Bent was going no where in the EPL and was not able to make to the starting lineups of his clubs. So from his perspective it is better to be a marquee player in a lesser league and get to play day in and day out instead of sitting on the benches. Cheers! Ram

I remember him and is pretty surprise that he had joined the Indonesian League. I always told MLS is always the retiring ground for soccer players. While he might not be the best there is in the BPL, Marcus Bent presence will surely benefit the league as a whole. Young budding strikers can look for to him for some useful tips.

Yes, he was once a player for Charlton as well, if i'm not wrong. He had a great partnership with Darren bent when they are playing for the same team before they were sold to different teams. Since then, i have not heard of Marcus bent while Darren bent is getting stronger. It's good for Marcus bent to play his trade in the Indonesia league, and hopefully he's sincere about playing well, instead of the fat pay check he's going to receive.
