Well, you should really try to lessen eating ice cream if you and the other people around you find that you are eating too much. Eating too much sweets can cause diabetes especially if you have a family history of it. I do not think that it is a disease though. Maybe you just love ice cream so much. You cannot abruptly reduce your appetite for ice cream, but you can try avoiding it by indulging yourself to activities where you will be far away from ice cream parlors or stores. You can also try eating some food which you do not naturally eat...you can also read about diabetes so when you see how harmful it can be, you will be alarmed somehow and be aware and conscious on your eating habits.

hi from an old diabetic false false sugar does not cause diabetes, too many carbohydrates cause obesity which then causes diabetes as too many fat cells impede insulins' job of ushering in the glucose into our cells t hat need it for energy.so its not as simple as just avoiding too much sugar, too much bread, potatoes with lots of butter and sour cream, white foods devoid of nutrition but full of uncomplex carbs,we in America most of us eat way to much carbs. If we would all keep slim in middle years a lot of diabetes 2 cou ld be avoided for sure. losing fiftee percent of your overweight might keep a lot of people from getting diabetes.

I really don't know what to advise you....research on the risk of eating ice creams too much...adopt it in your system maybe it would help.

That's hard to say how to reduce you liking for it. The only thing I can say is to just not buy it other than on special occasions. I've been learning not to buy any because if I do I know I'll have to share it and I hate to share MY ice cream. And it'll be wolfed the same day if not by the day after it's bought. Plus if you have diabetes or lactose intolerance in your family you should try to avoid it a bit for health sake.
