I think an obvious one is that it's not good to be late for a party in China which is opposite in America.

Yes this is true. The time we say a party or anything in that matter is going to start, that is when we start the prepartion for it and than get who show up to help.

The first one that I can think of is the food. Don't ask why, I might just be hungry now, lol, but that is what came to mind.

I'm not very sure about this, but in many Amrican TV shows and movies, we see that most adult children move out of their parents' homes and live on their own. Whereas, in China and other Asian countries children live with their parents up until the time they get married. Sometimes, they remain with parents after marriage. That's why we have more extended families than nuclear ones.
