I have been going to the Melbourne Zoo for a long time to take photos but I have always felt sorry for the baboons as they were in large cages with concrete flooring well I am glad to say at last they have a new enclosure, with trees, grass and rocks to climb and they are so happy, it is a joy to see...

the only zoo I know of near here doesn't allow camera's that have flashes. Does the one where you live?

No we don't have restrictions like that, I think maybe because everything is out side in a natural setting I find my photos are better without the flash anyway.

All I can say, it's about time the zoo improved the baboons enclosure and made it a more natural place for them to live in, as near as their own natural habitat. Great photos of the baboons enjoying their new suroundings!

yes these animals should have the zoo habitat as close to their natural environment as possible
