Pacquiao vs. Marquez

Last November 12, 2011 the third fight between Pacquiao vs. Marquez will happen. As I am watching the bout, I notices that Pacquiao is really struggling in winning the game. Recalling the past bouts, the first fight resulted to a draw, then on the second fight Pacquiao won the bout and so as with this third fight. My question is, do you think it is fair enough to declare Pacquiao as the champion of the third bout? Why do you think Marquez walked out of the ring after Mr. Buffer announced the winner?

I didn't watch the fight so I'm not really aware of the circumstances of what happened. However, people on my Facebook timeline were quite divided on the issue, with one side clamoring for a rematch (i.e. Marquez should have won) and the other arguing that the statistics tell the whole story. On my part, I think we're not really in a good position to "score" the fight by virtue of our non-expertise. We can only conclude that Pacquiao had a hard time with the fight (he admitted it anyway) but we can't really argue on who should've won. My opinion? Pacquiao should just retire because he getting long in the tooth.

Let's put it this way: he is supposedly at his prime and at the top of the league but why was it hard for him this time? Reports say that he admitted as much, and with the statistics, the scoring, and of course, the evaluations from almost everyone, it does seem that Pacquiao is losing his edge. Now, knowing this, can we still say that it is a "fact" that he "could be at anyone"? I'm sorry, but no.

Why do you think he should retire, when in fact he can beat anyone?

Although Pacquiao looks more "defeated" than Marquez, Manny landed more punches. So, he has more POINTS. And that means he is the winner. I think Manny is sad because he just can't knock out Marquez for good reasons! Marquez is so tough in that fight! There should be a part 4!

We are all entitled with out own opinion but I think the judegs are more in the position to have decided better than anyone else. Whatever their decision was, I believe they based it with the boxing guideleines. I am not saying Marquez is not good but so happen that his expertise as a counter puncher was not good enough for pacquaio. Both styles of their boxing is exciting to watch but still their is a hairline difference that made pacquiao the winner.

The judges have decided so be it.We all know that Marquez is the only Mexican who had the capabilities of beating Pacquiao but sad to say he had not done so the third time. Many fans have said that Marquez should have won but that is not what the judges have seen.So better luck next time if there will be next time for Marquez.

I actually thought that Marquez would win that fight. I'm no a big fan of boxing and I don't know how the judges decided that Pacquiao won but if that's what the judges say, then let it be. I have read a lot of comments that it should have been Marquez who won, instead of Pacquiao and that it was a bad match and that a rematch would be good and etc... I say that people should stop hating and accept that Pacquiao won. Both are good boxers but Manny was better. Just accept it and let it pass because no matter how many times you rant about it, you can't change the judges' final decision. ^_^

I didn't see the match but heard it online but it sounded like it was a very close fight and I guess Marquez didn't do enough to take the belt from Pacquiao. He would have had to knock down Pacquiao to win , at least. Will there be a rematch? or is Mayweather the next opponent?
