SPOILER alert, J.J. Abrams' STAR TREK: DOCTOR WHO.0

I just watched the newest STAR TREK movie again (not a STAR TREK sequel, but J.J. Abrams' use of-the title and -directly related characters to reboot the whole franchise ), and of course I started 'thinking' (about what, I'll see if I can tell you without 'spoiling' the space-time continuum ). Basically, I wondered if perhaps the Romulan Captain Nero might have somehow vaporized onto the planet Gallifrey a few millenia ago, fathered a race that he called the Time-Lords (with the help of Romulan 'red matter' black-hole technology), and so lives on through The Doctor. Or maybe Spock is one of the Time-Lord before his first Regeneration! How do you think the DOCTOR WHO-niverse will 'meld' with the STAR TREK-iverse?

No, I don't think I saw that; did they have old characters come aboard (in their up-to-date rank---Admiral Kirk, Captain Spock, Commander Uhura, or whatever) or did they go and 'photo-shop' DEEP SPACE NINE into old episodes of STAR TREK (and/or vice-versa)?

Oh my gosh, can you imagine if that had happened years ago? Leonard Nimoy and Tom Baker having it out, or getting together to solve a problem? That would have been absolutely so enormously awesome, I cannot describe how cool that would have been. YES, I do believe that having the doctor materialize on the bridge of the main stream. That would have been so absolutely wonderful! It can probably still happen. I actually think that Doctor Who AND Star Trek in film would create such a massive and huge franchise! I hope it happens one day :D that would be something awesome to see!

Yeah, and I noticed at the end that he had the crew in uniforms almost the same style as in the original TV-series (it might've been like that all the way through too; but who am I to notice, produce/costume-designer Joel Schumacher?) It made me think that--if the story hadn't violently thrown STAR TREK into 'a different timeline' (alternate universe?)--then there could be a whole new series about a group of 'Quantum Leapers' (time-travelers who jump about to set the world right again to repair the 'Quantum Reboots' caused by Romulan Captain Nero, Gallifreyan Doctor Who, SkyNet's Terminators (and John Conner), Doc Brown and Marty McFly).

I don't know what it's called; we haven't written it yet! When you get through with the screenplay, make sure you shop it by Johnny Depp (the ultimate "Doctor Who" Doctor) and by ... oh, that one, three-named girl that's usually Johnny's co-star?... the ultimate Doctor's Companion ... and you'll have to write Leonard Nimoy a part too ... fun-fun-fun ...
