This weekend Bayern Munchen will meet Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga and all eyes of the German football followers will be on that game. If Bayern will win, the gap between them(the first place) and Dortmund(second place) will be 8 points. If Bayern will lose, the gap will be 2 points only, so it is really a six pointer, like these games are called. Of course, there are other followers also, like Bremen, Gladbach or Schalke, but the specialists say that if Dortmund cannot keep up with Bayern, no other team is capable of doing this. Bayern will have a major absence in the person of Bastian Schweinsteiger, but Arjen Robben will be sitting on the bench after almost 2 months and if the result will be bad, he will be introduced. On the other side, Dortmund has to compensate the absence of one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga, Neven Subotic. What are your views on this game? Do you think Bayern can win it and take a serious lead?

I'm expecting Bayern to win the game, but the result states otherwise. It'sa surprised given Bayern's strong, winning all but one at home. While Dortmund is not as a good and consistent compared to last season, i'm shocked by their performance. Their young squad is able to beat Bayern, a teams with bundles of experience. NO matter who's playing or not playing, Bayern is still too strong a team for Dortmund. With CHampion's league matches coming up, that's why Bayern is not playing to their normal standards?

I guess the main reason for Bayern defeat is that they didn't had the clear mind from the midfield, which is Bastian Schweinsteiger. In games like this, where the opponent is giving 120%, it is very important to have a creative mind, who has more than 100 touches per game and plays the majority of his passes correctly. And another factor was the very strange refereeing, the goal scored by Gotze was preceded by a clear handball and there were many other situations, near and in the box, where the Dortmund defenders made fouls, but the referee hasn't blown his whistle. A draw would have been a more realistic result, based on what happened on the field, as the Dortmund players have admitted also.

No, a fixed match comes out of the question when it is such an important game and I think that Uli Hoeness won't allow Bayern to be implicated in such a dirty thing. As for referees, they have to stick to their decision, otherwise they loose from authority.

Can it be a fixed match? I don't think so right? MOst of the time, referees don't listen to player's protest and admittance when it comes to controversial goals. It's the same like Henry's goal against Ireland back then, Henry admitted his mistake, but referee allows result to stand.

So it is the top of the table clash. Knowing that you are a Bayern fan, I wish all the best to Bayern in this match. Do you think if Bayern wins this match, the title chase is more or less over. Because 8 points is too much of a lead to cover up!! Cheers! Ram

Thanks a lot for your wishes. It won't be closed, because there are other chasers also. If the game Gladbach-Werder will have a winner, they will be the second place with 5 points gap between Bayern and them, this if Bayern will win. But I am sure that Bayern will win the Bundesliga this season, it is a must for them.
