I've been trying to sell my car online for a couple of weeks on multiple websites. I got an email today which seems kinda suspicious. Tell me if you believe this is a scam or if I should go with it. I personally believe this is a scam but I'm not entirely sure. This person went on to tell me that they are going to add $100 to what i want for my car. They aren't getting for themself but for their father. They are going to pay me through paypal, and they are going to send their agent to get my car. This seems so fishy. I would copy and paste the whole thing but I'm not allowed to

Well, before you believe that the buyer is really interested. You need to ask payment first before they pick up the car with their agent... If you see payment from paypal. Then you can advice the buyer to pick up the car. But if they don't want to sent first the payment. Advice them to pay you in hand with their buyer... If they refuse. That's the time you decide they really scam. Don't agree with them that give first the car before they send payment through paypal...payment first before hand over the car

This is almost certainly someone who is trying to scam you in some way. I would ignore them ... tell them that you will only accept cash in person or, perhaps better, say that the car is sold (even if it isn't). It is quite likely that this person would pay by PayPal but then claim that they never received the car and get the payment reversed. I'm afraid that this sort of scam is not uncommon.

Hi... It seems a little fishy.. Did he give a phone no?? If not, then it really is suspicious.. In any case, do not proceed until you receive hard cash... Good Luck!
