Hi guys, I'm currently on the training. But I'm going to complete my training within these days. My trainer is absolutely my most outstanding programming teacher for my entire life. LOL. But really. So I kind of wish to give her a present for appreciating her best efforts in these 3 months. She loves to read novel. So I think to give her one. But I have no idea about novel. So could you guys suggest some nice novel for her to me?

What more do you know about your trainer? Reading a lot might mean having a lot of books also. Are there subjects she is interested in? Perhaps some fantasy world or something to puzzle (keep the mind busy in an other way?). How about: The Da Vinci Code?

With only this amount of information it will be indeed difficult to suggest you anything. First you have to answers some questions only then you can zero in on something specific or else you will keep running about vaguely. First of all, what is the age of your tutor? Is she middle aged, staring at retirement or a newbie (which I hope the chances are very less). The second thing you have to consider is her interests. By this time, you might have got a good idea of her mindset. What kind of a lady is she? Try to gauge which topics interest her. I guess you are trying to give her a surprise. So do not directly ask her these things. Just reach the point through a flowing discussion. I hope these 'tips' are enough to show you the way.

oh, you should know which author she likes. there are quite a lot of good novels and she would really appreciate it too if you give her something she would enjoy reading, if it is a novel from her favorite writer, right? my suggestions would be novels from Paulo Coelho, Mitch Albom. Some other fiction writers that are good are danielle steel and Nora Roberts. :D I especially like romans stories by Nora Roberts. :D

We can suggest up a storm, but until we know what genre she likes or what kind of authors she likes then we don't know exactly what to suggest. I'd suggest asking her wht her favorite genre is then researching great authors in said genre, or maybe unknown authors. What languages does she speak is another thing we'd need to know.
