How can we be so selfish?
Why cant we let go of the people we love even if letting go seems the best thing to do?
Why do we keep on hoping that one day everything will be OK?
Is letting go really that hard?
My father went to my Uncle today,my uncle who is really sick.He ask my father.
"Have i done something wrong to deserve this? Why not let me die,so i don't have to feel pain anymore?I am so tired Brother,I am giving up.Tell my family, take my life if they must,so ill be free."
He went home leaving the decision to my uncles immediate family but told them he is ready if they decide to end uncles life.
My father cried to me,telling me all these.He can feel the pain of his brother.
He ask me,if they are being selfish not to let him go early.I told him ,they just did right for they all love uncle.
We don't know what will happen tomorrow.All we know is life will end in any way or the other.We do not know when,we do not know how...

I don't think any of us can even imagine the pain he goes through.
Let him go and remember him as we was.

I am sorry to hear that your family has a difficult time ahead of them. What you Uncle has asked of his family, I am sure is a very difficult decision that they need to make. Many want to have their family members with them as long as they can.

Its not selfish I think. Its your right to be happy also. I think that the reason why its hard to let go. Simply because even though the person we like or we love don't like or love us anymore. The happiness that you to build really hard to let go.

Love someone and reluctant to let him/her go is a human nature. It is hard and painful to see someone die in front of your eyes. But with such a decision to let your uncle die probably the hardest thing your father has to decided himself too. Nonetheless, it probably the best choice for your uncle if he wish for it. God bless him, and God bless his family. I hope that your father will be okay and get over it too.

That's so sad. Really painful to lose someone we love. But we must know that there's always an end to everything. His family must accept it. Your uncle is so tired and he needs to rest. They need to let him go so he will suffer no more. If we let someone we love live that way, we are only making him live in more pain and agony.

Is your uncle being kept alive on life support? Whether he is or is not, it sounds as if he is still in his right mind. He should make sure that his doctor enters the words DO N0T RESUSCITATE in his chart. With this information, the doctors and nurses will make him comfortable but will not go to extra lengths to restart his heart, should it stop. I am assuming that your uncle is old and tired. If he is young and just giving everyone a hard time, I resend my advice.

well my freind when we love someone we don`t want to live that person and we want to lose that one same is happening to your uncle`s family... at this point just live everything on god. he will do the appropriate for your uncle....

I was recently faced with this situation when my Grand Dad fell ill. He is the one person closest to me along my family. Others in my family wanted him to go away so they can live their lives but I just cannot even think about it. I was almost down to tears seeing him in the hospital.
Some people are really selfish. Wish I could do something about it.
