Will the Fake Hippies 'disrupt' the Thanksgiving Parade?

I'm wondering what will happen Thanksgiving Day in New York when they have the Thanksgiving Parade. Will the Occupiers lob molotov cocktails at the balloons, and try to sit down in the street so the floats can't pass? If I had kids I'd think twice before going there.

That is exactly what Iam thinking. It is better not to risk by not going to such parades. Otherwise, the day may be turned to miserable one athough Iam thinking that there will be enough security.

I have heard some talk on the news that Occupy Wall Street plans to disrupt the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade. I guess we will find out soon enough what their plans are. We are having problems with Occupy Austin in Austin. Their latest stunt is to file a lawsuit against the city. Whole Foods has had to stop giving out samples because they show up to eat free. Fake Hippies is correct. They do not seem at all genuine about anything. They remind me of a small child who has been horribly spoiled and has temper tantrums. Everything that they do seems to be one more temper tantrum.

Given the fact that they haven't been very adult about the issues from the first day and it only gets worse, I wouldn't be at all surprised if they do disrupt it. If I were in New York, my family would pass on the parade this year. What a shame.

Well, I hope they don't do that. But they'll be trying to shut down all our ports in December so I would not put it past them. The parade kind of personifies American success so they probably don't look on it kindly. I live near Dayton, where the Occupants are actually cooperating with the city by moving out of the square they've been camping in so that the city can have their annual Christmas tree illumination event with no interference. It took them a couple days to decide to "allow" the city to do this but in the end they were decent about it. Maybe they'll leave the parade alone but I wouldn't count on it. People who defecate on cop cars and urinate in the streets aren't exactly filled with consideration or compassion for their fellow humans.

Yeah. They've already shown that nothing or no one matters except their own needs. The occupiers can't be protesting due to joblessness. They don't care that people can't get to work. In fact, they block people's way into work. The occupiers can't be protesting due to government's enabling of fraud, waste and huge financial gain. They don't go to protest politicians; they protest in public parks and in affluent neighborhoods. The occupiers can't be protesting to make a better future for children. They shout children down and terrorize them on the way to school. The occupiers collectively bash and break and burn and disrupt and wreak havoc while trying to force their message down people's throats. So they don't give a damn about anyone's kids. If it helps them to drive the message home that they want something for nothing, they'd gladly bring down the balloons and trample over children. And what's worse is that most of America's media would ignore it even if they managed to injure kids or worse. I don't have kids, but I wouldn't take them if I did. These loons run wild with only a few pockets of police attempting to do anything about them. The occupiers don't care at all about kids. And if taking over the parade helped their "cause," they'd do it in a heartbeat.
