India and West Indies played out probably the most exciting draw in test history. With two balls to go, all three results were possible, with India needing 2 runs to win and Windies needing two wickets. Anything else would mean a draw. Then Ashwin played a dot ball taking Indian loss out of the equation. But of the last ball he could get only one run and was run out going for the other run, thus ending the match as a draw. What a match!! Cheers! Ram

I would say this is the one of the great match I’ve seen till date. Great match with unexpected twist and at the end it will be a great disappointment for the Indians as they lost match but clinched the series by 2-0. I am little bit frustrated, India missed to make back to back whitewash in test. Test match has proved once again that it is much needed in cricket over ODI and T20 as it is not only traditional form of cricket but also interesting format. I personally like test matches than other formats of cricket.

I remembered the India Australia match in Chennai in 1986. That match ended in a tie as India was bowled out. This match was called a draw despite the scores level as India was not bowled out. But it was really one of the best draws you can get in a test match. Apparently this was the second time this has happened in the history of Test Cricket. Cheers! Ram

That match ended in a tie. India was chasing in the final innings. Off the last over India needed a run and Australia needed one wicket. Greg Mathews bowled it and Maninder Singh edged to the slips and got out. That was a tie game. It was really a riveting match!! Cheers! Ram

i think this is best match in the history of test cricket matches.this is the most interesting test match .no body thinks that match was ended that way .there is very less possibility of result in the match.but both teams work hard to get results but match is draw.

Yes, both teams require credit for this. I was pleasantly surprised by how hard the Windies team worked on the field while stopping India from scoring the runs. Of course, they dropped a lot of catches, but still they continued to work hard. Cheers! Ram

People who were criticizing the pitch including me have to eat humble pie. You cannot fault a pitch that played out for 5 days and the match was so close. Cheers! Ram

It was definitely a thriller. The match could easily go to either side. But Aswin kept India's side safe. After 3 days of the play all must have thought that the final test would be a plane draw, no one would have thought that this would end like this. Definitely it was a perfect end which showed India's supremacy in the series.

The real winner today was the cricket. What a fabulous match of cricket with its glorious uncertainties. West Indies almost lost the match after controlling it for well over three days. Most were ready to swear on anything upto fourth day that the match is a certain draw. It turned dramatically on its head on fifth day the wickets tumbled like a pack of cards and just when it looked certain that India is going to win and achieve historic white wash, it turned again a centurion of the first innings could not score 2 runs of the last 2 balls. The match ended in a draw but of entirely different nature, only 2nd of its type in the history of the game. If I remember correctly the earlier one was against Australia at Chennai. Long live test cricket with its glorious uncertainties.

Absolutely the real winner was the game of Test Cricket. Anyone who tells me that T20 and ODIs are more interesting please take a look at this match and the match between South Africa and Australia. That is what Test Cricket is all about. Every day is a new adventure in the match. Cheers! Ram

Well what to thought of this match, it complete turner! it just what to say i have no word to describe the match. First two day pile of runs from the weak West indies team and team then strong reply from INDIA but still coudn't reach the pile. Well then there start the excitement with real way the test match goes. West indies and INDIA both in a postion where the match was more of a draw to all. Each person fell it will end in Draw. Ojah his magical bowling make West indies batsamn fell on thier foot. Just 134 Lallout and a small target of 243 for INDIA which begin good but end in bad. I think if Batsman would have played little better then the match was purely in INDIA's hand. Even last 5 over 19 runs was possible but...... Well Aswin try his best to saveguard that the wicket didn't fall to save INDIA from lossing and his effort to get victory by pushing to get 2 runs and get out was a good one.But he would have tried it in better way. Well as result was seem to be it happend but the way result comes out that is amazing and this match will be one of the best test match to be remember.

It was really a good result for both teams. I think both teams competed hard, but played the game in real good spirit. I still remember that moment yesterday before tea when Dravid kicked the ball as it was going to hit the stumps and Darren Sammy came all the way to him fisted him jovially. That to me represents the spirit of the game. Fair play to both the teams. Cheers! Ram

I think Ishaant's dismissal was the change in the result. Had he not got bowled out I am pretty sure we would have won. But I must commend the Windies for continuing to fight hard for a result. Cheers! Ram

I concur with you in this case. West Indies were fighting hard till the last ball to prevent India from winning this match. kudos to both the teams.
