It's really a good habit to save some money. That can help us manage our own account well. I have been saving money recently. Actually it's quite hard. My mom always tells me, you don't know how hard it is to save until you earn yourself. Now I can understand her. Saving has helped me use money more properly and cherish every penny I get. Now I would always think twice before I'm going to make a purchace, especially when it comes to something expensive. And I'm always comparing things. It's really cool to buy the things with good quality at a cheap price.

I think no matter high salary or low salary we can earn, we should try to save some extra money for the rainy days. Well, the principle to save money is to live the life you can afford and not buy things which you can't afford. In this days, the prices are rising, especially foods. So we need to spend more with eating out now. So, cooking by oneself can really save a lots of money. Well, sometimes we may feel lazy and not cook by ourselves,it is ok to eat outside once for a while, but don't do that too often, because with the same amount of money, you can make several big meals by yourself.

To be effective in saving your money... It all matters on how you discipline yourself. You should know how to control on your spending like how you control on your eating if you are in a diet. When you are going out for something... make sure you leave your extra money at home and you budget your money enough for your fares and you only buy fewer foods half of the price you normally spend. That should minimize your expenses daily and can save you money a lot.

In that situation I am also in that scene. I usaully want to save money a lot. When my mother gave my allowance I write down on a piece of paper what are needs to be bought and what are not included on my list. But if I will go to the mall I hardly forgot my list and go shopping what I want. It really distract my list. I don't know how to be honest on my self just to buy my things what are really at need. Usually I starting to cope up with my hobby to be a "One day Millionaire" right now I jut down on my notebook what are the things I need to buy from the start of the week. I will eat cheap but nutritious food along the weekdays. When the weekend starts I pay myself with a reward for being thrifty. I spend a little amount in buying delicious food that I want.

Lately, I've been doing really good saving money but in the past I wasn't really a good saver and I blew about $800 USD in the course of a few months on practically nothing beneficial! Some tips I would recommend would be to only buy the things you NEED! Try to cut down expenses wherever you can but don't become frugal! If you work or got to school, I recommend bringing your own lunch as home-cooked meals are generally cheaper than cafeteria or "a-la-carte meals". (correct me if I'm wrong) Other than that, set savings goals so you can be motivated by your effectiveness! If ever you discouraged, remember your goals and how much you are putting back into your own pockets!

Im guilty of not saving money and I'll probably start saving by next year. I'll make it my new years resolution and hopefully I'll be successful in accomplishing it. I believe that saving moeny is important so that you have something to spend in times of crisis but I just happened to be not good in this department but I tried before and I failed. Maybe I'm not that determined enough so right now, I'll plan it very well and make sure not to spend what I saved.

Oh I love to shop and eat at restaurants in the mall ! Every payday I make sure that I deposit at least 10% of my salary into our savings account. Then I'll set aside our budget for utilities, mortgage and credit card payments. We never had a problem with our finances in 2 years. Before we learned all of these, we drowned in all our loans and our credit rating went down. Now, we are always vigilant of our spending habits. I also have a small notebook with me where I take not of EVERY PESO that goes out of my pocket. Although lately, I had a problem handling our cash properly and when we need extra cash I had no choice but to use my credit card instead. I was so embarrassed for what I did, gladly husband is very understanding and said that since I always make an effort to budget everything, he'll let it go this time as long as it won't happen again. Blessed be.

It can be difficult to save money, and such. Sometimes, I find it difficult to save as well, especially since our situation makes it difficult for me to do so. However, if you force yourself to save and such, then it might help you. If you set a fix amount to save every time, it might help you.

I am working in a touristic place where nearly kind of stuff is really expensive. The place is one of the most expensive on the district where I am staying now. I don't save well, since we have to buy expensive food, drink and etc daily. I spent nearly one third off my payment just fulfill my daily needs. I need to ask additional money for my boss. Now, I must save, because I want to visit my mother and father in the early beginning of next year. To travel back requires a lot of money and it seemed my saving will only then be enough just to accommodate one way trip. I was confused how I get money to pay my return ticket if I went home. Life is so tough. I have to save my money.

I have been trying to set up an emergency fund which I can use in case I am totally out of money for the month, or if an emergency need arises. But, it won't work if I can't keep adding to it. I put $20 in my emergency fund. But, at the end of the month I ran out of cash and I had to use my emergency money. I required the full amount. The idea of returning money to my emergency fund when I get more isn't working. I have too many needs and demands. How can I save money if I don't even have enough to cover my needs?

I am saving money too out from the daily allowances I get from my mother. She keeps on telling me to keep some money so that in times that I will need money and she doesn't have any, I will have some extra to get from. My mother was right. I is worth saving. It helps every time I have projects and things need to buy.

Is difficult to save money when we are in critical situation, is like all what we get, we already have that money compromist,I think the best way is to compomist a portion of a money like if we don't save it we will have problems with the law, but I have learnt that for example if we are in the in a saving club we will never count with that money and that is a good way to save.

I am not very good at saving too. I always spend my money on clothes or accessories or other small things that will make me happy.Or I make gifts for the people I love. I don't remember a time when I have saved a big amount of money.Guess that won't happen soon haha But maybe I should try to do it next year. Have a great day! :)

I am not good at saving money either now. You know , I used to enjoy the fun of saving money, as if something in your body becoming stronger and stronger when I was a little cute boy. but now its hard for me because of my travelling around the nation. In some way ,I can save for my journey . we have to sacrifice some in order to achieve your goal.

This takes another self discipline again, like eating foods (dieting) We should be serious when it comes to saving some money-for emergency cases.

I don't have much but I save. As soon as my income it there I pay all the bills, I also (automatically) put aside some saving money for my kids and myself (started with that lately) plus on an extra account (each kid has one) some extra so for the youngest 2 so they can go to highschool in a few years time. After doing that I have nearly nothing left over to buy food/drinks and if necessary clothes/shoes etc. But it's the only way to have something in cases of need for example: hospital, accident, broken washing machine (no money now), etc. Fact is the amount of costs you don't count with are way higher as expected.

You just need to be abit serious on saving. Don't go to the mall with extra cash is you know you will be forced to spend it. Leave your credit cards at home. It all about self control when it comes to spending.
