Hello Japan!

One of the places I wanted to visit, but unfortunately it's not that easy to go there since they require a visa unlike those countries within Southeast Asian. If I get lucky and if my Visa will be approved, I might be able to visit Japan and spend my Christmas with my relatives residing in Japan. I'll be staying in Shizuoka with my Aunt who will be the one to sponsor my trip and I will also visit my other Aunt residing in Tokyo. Any suggestions where to go and what to see in Tokyo and Shizuoka?

Japan would be amazing to visit. My old boss was from there and he took one of my co-workers on business. When they came back we were able to see amazing pictures and got a lot of information on how it is out there. My co-worker is almost 7ft and said he could stretch his arms out and touch one side of his hotel room and yet be able to touch the other side too. He said every thing was so small and his feet way hung off the bed. The food was amazing and the sites were too.

Hi! I have been to Japan once but it was an educational trip so I didn't have much time to visit a lot of places, so I can't really recommend a specific place. Tokyo is huge and the subway is so confusing! I hope you know the language because it's hard to communicate in English, maybe in Tokyo they speak a bit more but in other places it will be hard to find someone who speaks english. I was impressed by the country, Japanese people are so kind and willing to help! I was trying to find a street and a kind lady walked with me for about 300 meters to show me where is this place because I could not understand! There are many temples that you can visit and buy beautiful charms. I was lucky to be present in a japanese wedding one day and it was amazing! The recent earthquake was a very sad event for the country because it is such a beutiful place to visit. I hope you have a wonderful time there, I am so jealous! Arigato gozaimasu :))

Hi besweet, I don't speak Japanese language fluently, but I know some basic and somehow can understand a little bit. I agree the recent earthquake is a very sad event indeed, they have lost not only the infrastructures but the lives of their love ones and friends. I would love to visit the temples, visiting ancient places and ruins are much more exciting for me. It's a different feeling knowing that particular places have so much stories behind it. Of course let's not forget Tokyo Disneyland I would love to visit it. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! have a great day ahead!

I really respect Japan and want to go there. But because of my job restriction, another two years will be difficult for me to visit there. I heard a lot about Japan and it will be the first place I visit, after my two years job restriction.

I have been to Japan twice, and I was very much impressed with the cities and the places I visited every time. Japanese people are very friendly and always very courteous. I took the bullet train from Tokyo to the south. That was an amazing train ride, so fast, very comfortable. One sight I was really amazed was Mount Fuji (Fujiyama). Don't miss to see Maunt Fuji.
