I love coffee in the mornings

This morning I realized we were out of bottled water to make coffee. So I decided to go to mcd's to get a cup before my husband had to go to work. When i went out side to try and defrost the car I couldn't find the that little tool to get ice off the car. So it took a while. But after I got my coffee it was well worth the effort. I love to have a cup of coffee in the mornings. It starts my day off well. After that I was able to get started on some work online. How do you start your mornings?

I´m sorry your tap water is not apt to drink. I make my morning coffee with water from the tap. I have to have a cup of coffee before I take my morning shower. It cannot be the other way around. Coffee wakes me up.

I bought a water purifier and I put the water there before I heat it. It was not expensive and you have to change the filter every 2 or 3 months. Maybe you call call the company that gives water in your area.

Yeah me too, it can be such a hassle always trying to buy water for coffee. Our water has a chemical taste to it and it makes our coffee taste gross. We looked into the chemical levels and things and it is a reasonable amount (i guess if there is a reasonable amount of chemicals we can take into our bodies :)) according to the guidelines but doesn't taste well. So as long as we get bottled water it taste awhole lot better. I agree coffee wakes me up in the morning as well. I like my morning coffee routine. It's nice for us to be able to have that little down time before we all run around.

I am pretty much a coffee addict, drinking four or five cups a day, starting from breakfast time. I have been drinking strong coffee for many years, but lately I have changed to decaffinated coffee, for health reasons. That's better, and very refreshing too. Have a nice day !

That is a lot of coffee. I do like to get decaffeinated coffee as well it is better for us. My husband use to drink 9 cups of coffee a day. I don't know how he did it. But he absolutely loves coffee. Now he drinks a lot less which I'm happy about.

Upon waking up, it is always good to have a little prayer of thanks for the new life I have. then prepare for work. Coffee for breakfast is one of my starters too but lately, i refrain from drinking it. Since I am drinking the brewed coffee, I feel very active during the day. It really makes me alive but when early evening comes, i feel very weak too. I can't attribute it another else because I am not taking something other coffee. As a perk up starter I really like it but my body can't tolerate the caffeine. It's good that it works for you very well.

I agree with you that prayer is a great way to start the day. It reminds us of what is most important and helps us to be more prepared to face trials and temptations. I like to pray at night as it seems I'm more relaxed and able to really talk more about all that is happening. I don't like a lot of caffeine either so I like to use naturally decaffeinated coffee that I buy at meij ers that is reasonably priced. I like to drink water too but it has to be ice cold.

It sets the mode for the day and even direction. Morning and evening prayer is good. Upon waking up, thanking the Lord for the gift of new life and before sleeping at night, thanking him for the night that is over and all the experiences of it, to rest at peace. I have read somewhere that drinking ice cold water is not advisable because it constricts the nerves and may block the flow of circulation, digestion, etc. I think with these effects, you need to minimize it :-D just a friendly advise.

The world would be a really different place without coffee. My husband oftens says he doesn't know what he would do without coffee. The prices of Coffee has raised but we still manage to buy it. It is a small luxury I should say.

I think that drinking coffee in the morning is refreshing. It really starts the day off well. I like that usually in the mornings I have a little time to myself to have a cup of coffee and get started on work before my daughter wakes. So it's also a relaxing time for me.

Coffee is the best 'day-starter' for almost everyone of us, i love coffee because i feel awake only after taking a good cup of coffee, it's delicious and energizing, so everyday i make sure i don't run out of coffee for next one.

Yeah when we run out of coffee it's like our routine has been changed until we are able to get our cup of coffee for the day. It's a good thing to make sure you don't run out that way your days are off to a good start. Coffee is very energizing and it does taste so good.

I think that a lot of people enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning because of the fact that it allows them to wake up and therefore makes them feel as though they are much more able to face whatever they have to do during the course of the day. There was a story on the news this morning about the amount of caffeine that are in cups of coffee and it turns out that there are often dangerous amounts of caffeine in coffee shots, and this can be incredibly dangerous for pregnant women. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the menu that shows this.

It often seems that most of the foods/drinks we take into our body have something that isn't bad for us in it. It would be a great thing if more companies would take a little more time and money to make things healthier. There should be more information on coffee shots that say the dangers. I like to drink naturally decaffeinated coffee as they use a water process instead of chemicals to get a lot of the caffeine out. I hope that more people research such things to protect themselves and for example their unborn child.

Hi there Dominique25, Well, I do also love drinking coffee. As my day would not be complete without starting a mug of coffee in the morning. Just like you, I will need to start my mornings with a mug of coffee so I can able to start my day right.

It really is a great way to start the day. I love to have a cup of coffee in the early morning or late evenings as it is relaxing and it's a little quit time for me. My husband and daughter are still asleep and I can relax and get some work done or read. I try not to do cleaning or house work during this time so that I can truly relax. And the house doesn't get cleaned by itself so it will still be there for me to do later after I've had a little time for myself.

Well, first thing in the morning i always drink a cup of hot (as hot as you can take) water. You can feel how it goes down the intestines and clean the passageway. To me, it seems like it unclogs the passageways from those hardened fats the food i took had. But yes, it's always my morning habit to have coffee with my breakfast. If i wasn't able to drink coffee for breakfast, for sure , i would feel sluggish at the office. Coffee perks me up in the morning.

I'm sure that coffee does a great deal for us and our bodies. There are more and more studies that are showing the benefits of coffee. I think that when we eat and drink things in moderation we are doing well. I too think that coffee perks me up and gets me prepared for the day and the activities ahead.

Drinking water daily is good for us. I'm sure that it has so many benefits that we aren't really aware of. It's amazing how something that looks and seems like it wouldn't be that beneficial is. I try to drink water regularly but I've got to work on drinking more water throughout the day.

lol no I'm far from rich. :) There coffee only cost a dollar. I like the thought of tea but I'm not a big fan of it. The only tea that i like is green tea and I've come to realize that I can't add anything to it or I will not like the taste. So I prefer my coffee it taste great with sugar and cream.

If I worked at an office that is probably what I would do to. Coffee really does help me start my day. And it kind of makes me feel special that I can have such a delicious drink in the mornings.

I start may morning with coffee as well. And i usually consume 3 cups or more a day. Recent study shows that unlike the old claims that coffee is bad in our health, coffee can lessen the risk of cancer. Thant's why don't be afraid to drink one.

I'm glad to hear that drinking coffee lessen the risk of cancer. There have been so many things about how coffee is bad for us. I think that things in moderation does have a balance. So I try and be balanced with what I eat and drink. I hope that they continue to do more research into coffee it's nice to hear good things about it.

This morning I have had my two cups for the day. Usually I can drink another cup later in the day but since I'm out of naturally decaffeinated coffee I will stop there. It has been refreshing and has helped me get a lot accomplished this morning already. Now I will have a glass of water as others have suggested. But it will have to be ice water so that I can drink it all. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts.

Water is really good for us. It is good that you start your day with a cup of water. When I drink water it has to be iced cold. Since it does have a flavor I like it to be cold and refreshing. I've been slacking on drinking water. I need to get back into the habit of drinking water throughout the day. So many goals and things to work on. :)

I think that being able to go out with friends and drink coffee is such a great treat. I don't get to do that very often but when I do I'm very happy about it. Sorry to hear that your morning didn't go good yesterday. I hope that today is a better day for you and that you were able to drink some coffee.

Coffee helps me to start the morning right. when I was little, i used to think that coffee was exclusively for grown ups, and at that time i was sure that when i grow older i wouldn't drink coffee, but now given the time, i would drink coffee 2 or 3 times a day. It really helps me a lot.

I too agree that I can drink quite a few cups of coffee throughout the day. When I do this I try and make sure it's decaf or my daughter would be hyper as I do nurse. Coffee really does taste so good. I'm glad that we are able to have it.

Alright you've got to fill me in. What is DD's? I'm not a huge fan of flavored syrup's in my coffee but I'm willing to give it a try. It seems that you like this a lot. So you've got to tell me about it.
