A colleague of mine is selling slimming coffee. It is not just that because, as she said, the container or the foil of the coffee can be used to lower your electrical bill. She said that you have to cover the electrical wire of your appliances, just below the plug, with the foil. And eventually your bill for the next month will be lower compared to the previous one.
Could this be possible? What do you think?

I'm afraid this is complete nonsense and could actually be dangerous. Mixing aluminium foil and mains electricity in this way could only make it more likely that you, personally, get no more electricity bills ever in your life - unless you want an electrically heated casket.
