Newcastle United's tough run of matches continues as they take on Chelsea at home. After playing the two Manchester Clubs above them in Man City and Man Utd. and emerging with 1 point from the two matches, they would be eyeing an upset win over Chelsea. Chelsea on the other hand would be hurting from their poor performances in the big matches. AVB would want his team to win the match at any cost. I think Chelsea would pull off this match!! What are your predictions? Cheers! Ram

I agree with you. Newcastle is good but not That good. But I think it will be close. another 2-1 but closer than this score says. I see it being tied until the last extra minutes.

Both defenses are That good? This sounds like my kind of match. I just checked. I can see the last part of it . It starts a little too early for me to see All of it. I'll let you know what I get to see.

Sure. I do not think the Chelsea defense is that good. But Newcastle offense is also not very good to take benefit of that. Cheers! Ram

I actually think it might even end up with a 1-0 scoreline. I do not expect too many goals in this match. I am pretty sure that Newcastle would try to get one point from the match and would not be too ambitious in attack. Cheers! Ram

I think that this game will be a draw, just like the one Newcastle has played against United. They will face a team which is not in the best form and they will be able to score against Chelsea. Chelsea will score once as well, but I don't see any of the teams breaking the draw. But once again, a game which I will not bet one, even if I might regret it later on.

I think if Newcastle manage to draw this match, then AVB's position at Chelsea might be significantly under threat. Last week he became the odds on favorite to get the next sack with the bookmakers!! Cheers! Ram

I don't think he will be sacked before the crucial Champions League game on midweek against Valencia. Anyway, Roman Abramovich should take an example from Alex Ferguson's career, who hasn't won a thing in his first 3 or 6 years, I don't know for sure now. But I guess nobody regrets now not sacking him then. AVB has the potential, but he needs more time.

I am not sure Roman would be used to waiting. With all these businessmen they are so used to urgent returns, that they do not wait for too long!! Cheers! Ram

With one eye on the crucial match against Valencia in midweek, AVB's woes continue. Chelsea is no longer the force they were and they urgently need new players to freshen things up. My prediction, a 2-0 margin victory for the Magpies.

I think AVB is beginning to learn that it is one thing to be successful in Portugal and it is completely different thing when he is in EPL. Though I still feel that the Chelsea team is good, but it is an ageing squad. Constant changes in coaches has not led to proper team building thought process in place. But I expect a response from them in this match after their Champions League and Carling Cup losses. Cheers! Ram

wow , interesting.. Chelsea should do the best performance for get a victory from newcastle, and i think, AVB should show his best performance in handling Chelsea now, i think he is in a bad position in chelsea management after get some bad match. and newcastle is not a weak team anymore, they have talentd player that really dangerous for chelsea. and i think, newcastle will get so many support from their supporters that will give more spirit in this match. so i think newcastle have a bigger chance for win this match. maybe 2 - 1 for newcastle

Newcastle is a good team. But in this match they will miss the presence of Guttirez as he is suspended due to red in the previous game. So that would limit their counter attacking options. Cheers! Ram

Unfortunately, Man City are still motoring ahead. I think they need to lose a couple of matches and then only EPL would become tighter. Let's hope they slip up in the Christmas season as they have some big teams to tackle during that period. Cheers! Ram
