Living in harmony is not the monopoly of those who are lucky , priviledged or rich alone. If we seek peace and harmony, we have to work for it. There is a proverb "The one who created you cannot save you without you". Some people may have parents siblings or someone in the family with a charismatic personality to influence over the others. In the presence of such persons, there will be a cool atmosphere. Even those who live in conflict will calm down in their presence. It is like a cruel lion acting like a lamb. Such is the power of magnetic personality. We might have heard people saying - his or her one word is enough and everything goes all right. Some will never say a word, their one look is enough all will calm down. Some will barm, yell and mourn for hours but no one will pay attention. People will get used to such persons. They keep quiet but will not change their attitude. When there are persons with magnetic personality, it is a great asset to the family and to the society. But the normal people cannot be the victims of their character or temperament. They have to be aware of themselves. They must accept with serenity their positive and negative drives. They have to work daily and constantly to tame their character. It is not enough to give the reasons for getting provoked. If we do not take care of ourselves, ultimately it we who suffer. From the beginning of our awareness stage, the parents must allow that the child gains confidence with someone to share, to get consoled and to listen to their help. In life we do need someone to support us. We have to render ourselves acceptable to others. We have to learn to trust someone and get guidance.

I overcome stress with working out or doing yoga. This is the thing that has always helped me the most and I don't know how people do it without exercising. But I guess everyone has its own way to overcome stress. Happy holidays! :)

Yoga in itself is not attributed or confined to any religion or practices. Youga in itself is a soothing excercise that make us relax. The conscious and lengthy breathing, subdues even our unner tensions as we release the carbondyoxide . The intaking of Oxygen purifies all our tissues. When the abundant flow of oxygen is supplied to our brain, the worn out brain too is purified and certain galnds like Pinneal, Pitutary, hypothalamus and other glands secrete the hormones in a balanced way. This action is very salutary to render our body and psyche calm and cool.

I was just thinking to myself that I should really do yoga more often but for some reason I don't do it as often as I used to. I remember being so relaxed and feeling amazing after doing yoga a few years back. When do you find the time to do it, in the morning or at night?

Stress is a part of life and I have learned lately what being stressed out can do to my body. I have been looking at different ways to help relieve some of the stress I deal with. One thing is exercising. I have found lately that after I do Yoga I feel so relaxed and calm almost like the stress just melted away. I should start doing it more often. I also take a nice long bubble bath and read a good book.

Yes stress is a very common thing these days and it takes a lot of positive thinking, deep brathing and talking within yourself to get over it, appreciating the things that are good in tour life and focusing on them for a start.
