One of the classic and best anime of all time. Surely, if you don't know this anime you're no anime fan. For the new generation I think naruto is the successor of dragon ball. I started watching dragon ball when I was 8 years old. Then later when I was 14 it was dubbed in our language more comfortable to watch. The only thing different about dragon ball and other anime is that the characters are a million times stronger than any anime you could throw.

I know about Dragon Ball Z but I am not a total anime fan. I have been forced to watch this because of my older brother. He used to like all the animes in TV. And even now that he is an adult he still watch Dragon Ball whenever he is at home. He even have CDs. And I don't know about Bleach, I think that one is an anime too I just heard it some years ago from him.

So what are the anime that you have watched? I'm downloading dragon ball z on torrent because DBZ on DVD's around is full of crappy american background music. I don't like the american background music I rather stick to japanese background music but english dub which is so rare to find but luckily I was able to find it somehow.

As I said I am not a total anime fan. But was forced to watch some when my brother is watching. The only thing I can remember was those that are shown in local TV. We use to fight about switching the channel because I wanna watch teen series before but he's into anime.

i remember the time when i was in elementary school. i used to go home as soon as the teacher dismisses the class, so i could watch dragonball z at home. sometimes, i go to my neighbors house to watch it with the other kids who live there. great times, to me, back then, dragonball was the coolest thing. now, i laugh at how long a saga takes, how long goku and his friends have to beat their enemies, they always talk. like it's 60 percent talk and 40 percent rapid moving and fighting. hahaha

When I was in my 1st year college and we had NSTP that time we still go to school during saturdays missing important episodes of inuyasha. Now I watched everything thanks for the torrent and seeders..lol I like watching english dub because i'm lazy reading lines and makes my eyes tired. But the english bud cardcaptor was a crappy one.

True. I did exactly the same thing as yours. I even love watching girl anime like card captor sakura and magic knights rayearth back then. About that 60% tack that's very true and naruto seems to have inherited it. Basically, fillers only make the anime crappy.

haha, i watch those too! have to switch channels all the time, because both channels are showing animes i would like to see. now, i don't do that anymore, because there's the internet. i don't mind it in japanese dub with english sub or english dub. anything will do as long as i can understand it. it depressed me a great deal when i discovered we have saturday classes, then i couldn't watch those animes of saturday mornings. i was in such a bad mood in class thinking that i should have been in front of the tv on that day. hmph. haha, that's why i don't watch naruto on anime, i've been hearing the same complaints about the fillers from many other fans. i read the manga instead, that one also have so many conversations, gets boring when they talk about naruto being the hope of the shinobi, dramatic

I can't remember anymore how old I am when I first watched this show! It was still in RPN 9 and dubbed in English! I remember I really liked its ending song. I regularly watched this show then and I still did not know the difference between English-dubbed and the original Japanese audio. ^^ It's amazing how long this anime have come to be.

True. Naruto seems to be inspired by dragon ball but will a lot more twists and crappy fillers too.

Yeah, i don't really like to watch Noruto anymore because of those fillers are very long and have a very bad stories. Other than Naruto there is One Piece that also inspired by Dragon Ball too. You can see it from the main character's personality. Luffy have almost same personality like Goku and it is very popular with many anime/manga lovers.

First time i watched the DragonBall anime series is when i was a kid too. First time i watched it makes me become its fans and since then i started to read Dragon Ball manga too. Even until now, i still like Dragon Ball. In my opinion, Dragon Ball is very special in anime/manga world because of the characters are very unique compared to other anime that time. Even now, many anime/manga inspired by Dragon Ball and tried to make a characters similiar with Dragon Ball's characters personalities.

Looking at Goku and the rest of the Saiyans, they are in a whole different power level compared to Naruto ninjas and other anime characters. Goku is just so powerful that he can even walk normally in a 100x more gravity than earth. Storywise, I'd say, Naruto, Dragon ball, slam dunk and hunter x hunter are the best.

True. I watched all the anime you've mentioned and those anime sure was great. Even vegetta later trained him self on a 450times gravity as a normal saiyan, how much more if it's a super saiyan 4 gogetta.lol

It makes me wonder why no Anime author dared to make characters stronger than DBZ characters. Until now I cant move on from the crappy and disgusting Hollywood adaptation of Dragonball. That is a movie that should have not happened. My fave characters are the Twin Androids, They were the most unique villains, you know they were just misguided and rebellious teenagers, they became evil Dr. Gero kidnapped them and turn them into Androids.

Yeah the DBZ movie sucks. The teen Goku doesn't suit his character. The real Goku should be humble, while in evolution his like a show off lousy punk. Raditz alone can take on or even easily eliminate all naruto, yuyu hakusho, gundam, bleach, etc. at once.

Hate that dragonball hollywood adaptation. it was total **** I couldn't believe what they did to dragonball. every one of them was out of character, hollywood should never ever adapt anime into one of their own films, especially the shounen jump animations. the dragon ball in that movie was nothing like the down to earth and food loving Goku i know from the anime. they even added yamcha there? there are so many other characters in dragonball who are cooler that they could have added, why yam cha? argh.... hehe, sorry about that.

For bulma of course. But I think the Dragon ball evolution was about the teen goku before he encountered raditz. I think yamcha is cooler than tein or krillin.

dragon ball z, the strongest animes around. able to destroy other planets which has not been matched by any other anime. Very unique peole the saiyans able to transform and let their hair stand upright and changed it's color to yellow/gold. Dragon ball and dragon ball Z really has a place in my heart.

Yeah, Dragon Ball really is special because it have characters that are the strongest in all anime world. Even if Dragon Bal is an old and classic anime but i think the story is better than most of newest anime these days. I think if they didn't only remastered the anime like in Dragon Ball Kai last time but they make a complete remake of the anime instead, i'm sure it would be very great.

This is one of the first anime that I watched when i was younger. Right now my boyfriend decided to rewatch every episode from the very beginning and wants to cosplay Master Roshe (sp) at anime conventions. I thinks it is one of the best classic anime that I have watched.

Dragon ball z is the best among the 3. I didn't enjoy watching the GT. I think Dargon ball is better than dragon ball GT.

Yeah every anime fans must be know about Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball already become like an icon for the manga and anime world. Even many of popular long running anime/manga series taking Dragon Ball as their reference. One of the well noted is the main character of One Piece that has a very similiar personality like main character of Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball is one of my favorite and also the only favorite anime/manga when i was little. I really wish they can make a remake version of the anime, not just a remastered version like Dragon Ball Kai.
