Last week i had a conversation with my chief and what he said maid me angry and sad in the same time. Starting from new year my job position will be downgraded to part time work or half time of full time vacancy. That's terrible and is sending me signal that crisis vol 2 has started here. I don't know what to do now since there is huge unemployment around. I have family and now quit everything here and try to go and search job somewhere in another country could be too risky. I can loose everything i have. Well right now i am writing my Curriculum Vitae again and will think what to do with it.

I was so sorry. It too would be very difficult for you to accept your boss' decision. In my opinion, quit is not right solution. Should you endured and be patient a little while you are writing your Curriculum Vitae. Moreover, you got a family. I suggest you to stay in your work place until you have gotten new employment from other company. Thank You

I am just too bored to work here and i cant give my full energy to this workplace anymore. Americans say that normally person need to change his/her job once every 4-6 years, but i am now here two such time periods and i feel myself exhausted. :(

That is a very difficult situation to be in, especially so close to the holidays - it is never an easy situation, but now you have to not only budget for the coming year on a reduced income but also possibly not have much if anything for Christmas. I know someone that is facing a similar situation. He was just going to quit and try to find another job, but hopefully I have now convinced him that even making less money at his current job is better than making no money ... at least until he can find something better.

I feel very sorry for you in such a terrible situation. In my experience I would say that a chief has a fire like temper. One of my friends worked in a setting with food and his chief was always moaning. If your work is part time you will find your earnings are not enough. Well done for writing your curriculum vitae. It is a shame there are many people unemployed. One of my friends has an evening and weekend job delivering pizzas. Now he is also doing computer work for someone he knows. This supplements his normal earnings very well. Good luck.

Now i am working at full time as engineer, but after new year i will work just on half time. The saddest thing in this is that with half time work i can pay only my car leasing, while i need much more money to pay for family food, apartments etc. :(
