Chasing a modest total India lost to west indies by 16 runs. It was achivable targret as we have still 3 over to spear and only 17 required but it all go vain. I fully blame top odrer for this lost, even before 100 India had lost 5precious wickets. What happen to the batsmans why they didn't stay long. Again rohit proof his worthy but this time he didn't bring the victory. So what you all have to say about this?

yes very bad day for india the target was not very simple but indian team have lost two batsman very early in the form of sehwag and gambhir and after that no big partnerships were made so india came in pressure but a another great inning by rohit sharma.

Target was not difficult to achieve but wickets were falled too early. Both shewag and gambhir got out without opening thier score in sucessive ball snd it put presure on team. Later no one last long except rohit who show character and fight till he got out. Unfortunate that raina got out on wrong decesion but it just error. India must missed drs this time on rsina's dismissal.

The westindies team are also a very good side which could match up with younger side of India,So the only advantage this young indian side had over west indies was that india was playing in home ground. So,as both sides are even the result could go i favour of either sides in a given day.

you are wrong, this west indies team is still weaker tjan current Indian team. You can't say like that by just one loss by India. If west indies were stromger than might had won the first match also but they didn't as they don't have better bowling attack. Yesterday too India go very close from a bad score you see it too. I still belive west indies is nothing for these young player playing for India.

Despite the top half not contributing at all, the miracle nearly happened. But India finally fell short by 17 runs. When Mithun was hitting those sixes, it was interesting to see the reaction of the Windies players. Anyhow, I think poor batting form was going to cost us a match sooner rather than later and it has cost us now. Cheers! Ram

well it quite a time gon in talking about this look nonsense but i had to reply. You are right little miracle happen as Indiz had lost 7 wkts before they reach 100 and even then they able go closer to the chasing score. They only fall short by 14runs. It really a miracle but , one of the esrkier user remind me about the miracle thst goes in favour of westindies and which make the difference count. I am taking about the 70 odd runs Indian bowler uselessly gsve way in last 5overs. Well anyway it it go and enjoy the revenge that shewag took by double centuey dhamaka.

That is the problem always with the Indian team. They never play together. Every match there is one person who performs extremely well and other players just collapse. If no one plays outstanding, India loses that match. There's no team work. Why do you say "there is no miracle"? The WI were at 190/5 in 45 overs, but they finished around 260 in 50 overs. (nearly 70 runs in last 5 overs. Isn't it a miracle? Should it happen only for India?)

ya brother you are absolutely right. Indian batsman are collapsing like anything in last 3 matches. It is not looking that Indain team that has just won the world cup. But it is good signs for Indian fans as Australia tour is coming up and none of the Indian Batsman is in form except Rohit and Virat.

yes venkataraman_vc you are right, Indian team had always geared up by individual performance and there very less time when each player add something. Even the bowlers and batsman sometime play seperately either of them underperform to let other do the job. I hope India will do better by making a team effort and biuld such thing need more and more opportunity tothe player with in same squard. I mean same team play more. I told the miracle that happen in 1st odi but you are ribht 70 runs in lastly given by bowler is miracle but in favour of wi. It is what the reason of loss yesterday.

hi friends i am agree with all of you every time one person who performs well and other indian team were collapse .i think last 70 runs in 5 overs was the turning point of the match .if india saves some runs in these five overs then the result was different.

Miracle didn't happened for India but it happened for West Indes this time...They deserved this win for the way they have played this ODI series....
