Well I do hope I can get on mylot more often to be able to avoid the seasonal update by talking about my activities more often. So what happened from august until now you are probably wandering ? Well quite a lot actually: September, my birthday, 24 now but enough about that: We (me and Anca) started a Greek language course in the beginning of October which we are now 2 months in and also we started volunteering for WWF Romania near the end of the month. They opened a few internship positions and I have already applied to one, and soon will do to the other one, hoping for a job to something I like. I also started driving school in November, and completed the theoretical courses and I am now in the middle of my practical training. I think that about covers it. What's new in your life for the Autumn ?

Hello elitess. It is now the autumn of 2012. I am wondering how you are getting on with your study in Greek. Can you communicate with people in Greek now? It is always interesting and exciting to learn a new language. Also I believe that you have mastered how to drive well. Well, as to me, work is still the same, teaching year after year till my retirement age, which is still so far away. I love my teaching job. Take care, elitess.

Hi William. Well I have some understanding on Greek now, but still have much to learn as my course was interrupted because they had to move their HQ. and have not called us back ever since. I have obtained my driving licence and can drive, but will probably end up doing so in the UK. I am hoping that at the time we are getting a car for us, we will be able to either get an electric car, or a car that has under 5 per cent oil per 100 kilometres.

You've been quite busy! Does WWF stand for World Wrestling Federation? Those fights are all fake, you know..if that's who you're volunteering for maybe you can tell us something about how it works. The most important thing to remember about driving is to assume every car on the road is dangerous and wants to crash into you. It's called defensive driving! I think it's great that you and Anca are learning a language together. It'd be nice if you could finish the course and visit Greece on a vacation! It's winter here already and we had snow this morning, less than an inch but it's pretty. I had to buy a new furnace this week and the dogs and I were very cold for about 24 hours till they could install it. I actually considered trying to get through the winter without it but realized how stupid that idea was. That's about all that's new in my life--nothing exciting or fascinating but at least no real disasters!

WWF volunteering - Here is a picture of the gang volunteering for WWF and the Romanian virgin forests.
Hello my dear Dragon ! No no no, not wrestling. WWF = World Wide Fund for Nature - oldest non governmental organisation in the world on environment issues - have the panda logo :D. Here is a picture with us in our t-shirts and the Panda logo. We have brown bears as mascots (Anca is actually one of the bears there, you can see her face in the picture I uploaded in the panda.org interest here at mylot). because we have about half the worldwide population left here in Romania. Yes, defensive driving (we have a chapter about it in the theoretical study which actually advise on preventive driving, so similar) and yes, it is very good to be preventive as there are so many idi...drivers that don't remember what they learned in school. We will be going to Greece for the 4th time this year, and we will most likely be able to study a Greek menu without many problems hopefully. It only snowed in a part of Bucharest so far (where my girlfriend stays at her grandma) not where I am staying.
