I should cut back on game playing

Playing games can be addictive, especially video games, or online games. Lately, I bought an iPad 2, and I download a couple of online games, and I just play them nonstop. Everyday after work, or whenever I don't have to do something, I will turn it on, and play until who knows, 4 hours or 6 hours. Last night, I lost control, because I just want to break it to level 7, and I didn't go to back until 1:00 A.M. in the morning. And I have to be up early in the morning and go to work. This morning I had a sleepy head. I told myself that I have to cut back on that.

You just need to control those urges mr.kingparker. I have that bad habit before as well and it was very difficult to work with a sleepy head. I was given a fair warning by my supervisor about that matter and I decided to to cut my gaming time. I think you have the same personality as me who hates to lose, or doesn't want to stop until you are contented with the success that you have gain. Which is good for a gamer. but we have to live our lives and work for a living so those urges should be controlled. happy mylotting and have a nice day

My younger sister does the similar thing. She just played the computer games for the whole night. I think it is very difficult to resist the computer games and those sort of games. Therefore, I never buy those games myself and you can save money as a consequence.

Hi... Yes, games are very addictive... The 3D games especially! I remember I used to play for many hours without eating or sleeping... Its a bad addiction if done in excess... One goes into that trance easily... Take care...

I totally understand! I have been addicted once with Plants vs Zombies. I was so excited to get home after work because of this game. I became obsessed with my zen garden and how many falgs I could achieved. But I was over that now. I did enjoy Angry Birds too, but not as much as Plants vs. Zombies.

Well, that is a good decision. I play online games too, as a way of relaxation. I am not that skilled with games, and I play only the simple ones. Still, I try to control the hours I spend on games. Just one ot two hours at the most.

Yes I agree they can be very addictive if you allow them to be. I was and still am that way sometimes when it comes to the games on Facebook. I used to be addicted to Farmville. I even had the app downloaded on my cell. Now I can't stand to play the game and I find it very boring. of course now I play Sims Social, but even with that game I wont allow myself to become addicted to it.
