I saw this movie a couple of days ago and I said to myself if ever I was to grow old and loose all of my memory this is the way I would like my love to make me remember.
The story of the movie is about to teenage lovers falling deeply in love but got separated by chance by wealth, war, family and faith but brought together by patience and hope...
And when they saw each other they never, let go. There love blossomed built a life with each other got old together until the lead female character had Alzheimer's and lost her memory sometimes she remembers sometimes not but when she remembers it was through a notebook a somewhat of a diary that her husband made about there adventures and there love.
And one night after suffering from a heart attack and healing the male lead went to his wife's room and slept beside both of them spoke how they wished to be together and the end since the female lead could not bear anymore the fact that she forgets her one true love.
And miraculously,tragically they slept and went to God into the night beautifully.
Now that is a love story that is how I would wish to go by my days with the love of my life, with her in love with me, until the very end.

I saw this movie couple years back and I don't think i remember all of it but i sure know I was in love with this movie. The story line is so good and this did make me cry. I would love to have someone like Noel(?) I forgot the actor's screen name sorry!

Hey no prob girl, anyway the movie was great right it was really moving and that anyone growing a bit more older would really catch on with this since the it was shot as it was in the later days so anyway thanks for commenting and hope I am a Noel for my honey.

Hi Deodavid,
I saw this movie a few years back and it is right up there in my top favorites of movies. It's an absolutely beautiful and inspiring story. Shows perfectly what real love is all about. Another favorite is "I am Sam" with Sean Penn. If you haven't seen it, you really have to...very moving and realistic!

You think so too, this is just the lovestory, anyway I'll check out that movie with Sean Penn. I'm a dude all rough and buff and all that but I love this sort of movies I can get in touch with my softer side and makes me feel i can do more for my one and only Gal. thanks sid556.

I read the book to this movie by author Nicolas Sparks & was also moved by their love story. When the movie came out I could hardly wait to see it. It is a beautiful love story that stands the test of time & grows as the years go by. I agree with your statement, if I were to leave this world I would want to do so with my husband's arms around me knowing that no matter what I was loved by someone in my life.

Miss's Rob I second your statement really knowing that you are leaving this world that someone has opened there heart to you and has given meaning to your existence is something truly ideal for me. I would think that if one day I left, this earth knowing that everyone around me didn't care I'd probably roll over from my grave and ask for a second chance to live again.

I'v seen this movie for three times.For the first time I saw the film I didn't feel how beautiful it was.Two innercent teenagers,innercent age,innercent inner thought...I just saw two youths enjoy their young life exhausting all of the means,only to the war or other unexpected events did they seperate.However,I fell in love with a boy later on and i stareted understanding the fellings about love.It's about bravery,understanding and forgivess.So I decided to see this film second time.This time,I knew and learnt so much.The boy enjoyed the army during the nation needed him,it was duty and responbility.For the girl ,maybe her mother got in the way ,but she still hidden her lover from her deep herart becase of love.When they met again,both of them were different from the past time.But the true love still resisted.so they dated again for both of them wanted to made another one chance to accept each other.After arguing,cuying and explaining,they knew all of the things,and they found that the suffering made them treasure the life more than the yuong age,in other words,they wouldn't understand what true love was with out what they went through.Today,I reviewed the movie again,but my favourite boy had left me for a long time.I nerver cry for romance,because I have a more important thing to do and some else people to protect.

i super like this movie. i guess it's one of my lifetime favorites. i've watched it several times already but it's still touches me in one way or another. it also reminds me of the song "grow old with you". it's like you wanting to have that kind of love, no limits. no boundaries. very unconditional.
