I have got into a habit of mainly watching the same old channel, well two channels.I just love true crime and there are loads of different things that are played on these two channels.I can just stick the tv on the channel and sit there watching it all night, rather than looking for things to watch all the time. Its skys investiagtion channel and the other is the crime one.

Here in the US, if I am home during the day, I tend to put the USA network on. That's because they rerun crime dramas like NCIS, or Law and Order SVU or Criminal Intent. They also rerun House with Hugh Lambert. I'll also run CNN until I get tired of the news. Too many of the other channels during the day run game shows or talk shows many of which are cheap exploitation shows. Other shows that have become popular are these courtroom shows that are tiring to see since most of the cases seem trivial. I like sci fi, but the sy fy channel seems to have a different definition of science fiction than I do. There's another crime drma channel, Cloo, but my cable network doesn't pick it up.

I use to like the professionals when I was younger and they are reruns that they are putting on once in a while and if I see that it is on that is the only time I flick it on to watch another channel.I am not a great fan of game show and not that much of a fan of watching the news either, not unless it is local news or something that has happened in the world.

One thing I've noticed before is that when I change my TV source, my TV viewing changes. I used to have cable TV where I lived, then switched to satellite. When I moved here, I switched back to cable, through a local cable company. (I can't get satellite because my trees block the signals for the local channels.) I tend to watch channels with channel numbers near each other. This is especially true now since my main TV's remote is broken and I have to change channels manually.

There is one cable channel that I wish we could get but you have to pay for it, it's all crime shows or courtroom drama. Those are the type of shows I like too. There have all the Law and Order shows on there, Criminal Minds, & I believe a show that used to be on called Third Watch. If I had that channel, like you I would turn it on & simply watch that one channel all day long.

It is so much easier to find things what we like when they are all on one channel.I have noticed that some of the things are repeated that are on, but then I flick on to the other channel.I sit chilling out with a few drinks as well as a few snacks and do not even ave to get up, its great. There are a few things like law and order that I use to watch, but at the moment they are being repeated again on the other channels.

If I have cable, which I typically don't, instead I have Roku. I watch Animal Planet or the Food Network or the Travel Channel. I usually watch cable at the gym or when I'm home with my parents.

I used to watch alot of the Trutv channel but not so much anymore. Not sure which channel you are talking about. I like Bravo, BIO, Travel, LMn, AMC, TCM, and Lifetime. I do enjoy my digital cable. Watch alot of movies and reality shows. I enjoy true crime alot.

I sometimes feel that way. But I rather look for a good movie to watch. I enjoy that much better. But I do get into a groove once in a while. Like the last few nights, I have been watching VH1 classic for the past 4 nights when I go to bed.
