Not with English, but with other languages, yes! The meaning of the phrase means that she seems that she would be a person who holds grudges. "Has an air" means "it seems as if" or "has an attitude of" Holding grudges are thoughts that one holds against another instead of forgiving them. Hope that helps!

I believe you left a letter out of the careeing. Reading as careening would mean that the puppy is going all over the space. That would make sense comparing something going along on a featureless state highway which would have no directions for which way to go.

Hi Ifa... Yeah sometimes I really clueless with what I am reading so I will usually search the meaning but sometimes still not understand. Yeah I love to watch in English subtitle to so I know when I hear something spoken I know exactly how to write it. I am try to improve my English with reading a book in their original English. Its usually took a long time to finish a book.

As a native English man this sentence is clear. Lets break it down into two parts She has the air This female give the impression (by impression I mean that intuition you have about someone's character from various things that they do, the way they carry themselves, the way they speak, their attitude, etc of a grudge-holder A grudge=holder is a person that nurtures a resentment or feeling of ill will that the person feels towards another, for some wrong, either real or imaginary that person has done them all the best urban

hope this helps. it means they do not forgive some things done to them. emotionally they are keeping in mind what anyone does and always holds things against them. like maybe they will seek revenge in some way or say NO! when you say you are sorry. they never forgive. they hold a grudge.

It means that she seems like someone that would hold a grudge. "An air" is like the way someone presents themselves. I have heard things or read things that I did not understand right away. I think it is better to just find out instead of letting it bother you. Take care.
