to travel all across the US from one end to the other. How long do you think it would take you, and would you have certain online friends you would want to meet, maybe even from here?

First and foremost, i will give my tithes to God! Then, build a Free Christian SChool from pre-school to college. Help Christian Ministries when it comes to financial then help my loved ones, friends and other people to start their business ventures. That's all folks!

around the world! - great journey!
I think that part of the beauty of being that well off is not having to have a timeline on such a trip, to be able to go where the wind takes you, so I couldn't even begin to speculate on the length of the trip. For one thing, I might get to, say, Italy, and decide that I like it so much I want to stay a while and then pick up the trip at a later point. I have grown very fond of some of my online friends, but I don't know that I would specifically contact them on this journey. I might. I'm just not sure.

whoops, I just reread your post and realized it was a US trip. What's funny is that when I said I might like to stay in Italy, I almost said "Seattle." Sorry to have extrapolated on the original topic!

Imagine I am rich. I would love to travel the USA by train, plane and automobile and boat. Wherever Amtrak went I would take a trip 1st class and enjoy the amenities of the dining car, the silver, the white table cloths and the delicious food, the roomettes so I could get a good sleep. Scenery like the Midwest that did not change for hundreds of miles I would cover by plane. Magnificent vistas like travelling from Vancouver BC to San Diego CA I would like to travel in a comfortable car with a hired driver so I could enjoy the Pacific coast and stop at the breathtaking places and stroll along the beaches in the less touristy areas. The east coast from Nova Scotia, Canada to Hilton Head NC I would like to see from onboard a Tall Ship, that would sail leisurely along the coast and among the many Islands with billowing white sails, a comfortable cabin and an excellent chef on board who would stop on wharfs and buy the fresh catch and succulent vegetables and fruits. Would I visit any mylotters? Yes if I had made good friends with them and since I was rich I would invite them to share some of my adventures. Dream on Lindalinda, dream on!.

If I were rich enought to travel across the US I would take my grand son. When He was younger He was going to get me a hover round (I have Rheumatoid Arthritis) and we were going to see america traveling in an RV. Now he is older and His interest are changing. I woould like to meet some of the people I have met here.

When my parents retired, they bought a Harley Davidson mortorcycle. They have taken it across the US twice now. Both times they took about a month to do it. Needless to say I am envious. I would love to drive across country, in a car rather than a motorcycle. I have a couple of friends that I know who I would like to visit, mostly in Texas.
