I was watching the wife swap show the another night. My husband said it would be fun to do something like that. I personally wouldn't like to do something like that. Each family has a different way of doing things. I wouldn't want to go into someone elses house and criticize them or vice versa for how we do things as a family. How about you?Could you do a wife swap?

I really do not want my 15 minutes of fame, especially not that way. It would drive me crazy. in all honesty, my family is not weird enough to go on that show. We are not circus freaks etc. We are both teachers who try and spend as much time with our child. our house gets messy, but then we spend saturday mornings cleaning it up.

Yeah I feel the same way. It would drive me crazy. And we aren't that crazy to be on there anyway. My husband just thinks it would be cool. But it's not like it's husband's swaping. I would have to be the one to leave and have someone else come back. I do understand that cleaning up on saturday mornings. We tend to do that as well. And my in laws stop by Saturday afternoons and so it works out good that we. Especially since the week is usually so busy.

I wouldn't want to. just the thought of the sort of family they'd pair us up with is enough to make me not want to. they would most likely be sexist, domestic rodent hating hardcore and intolerant sort of Christians who think that men should be the head of the household, women do everything, everyone abide by boring conformist conservative rules sorts.

Yes they would definitely pair us up with a family that would be the complete opposite. I guess that is what makes the show interesting. I just like to watch it I don't want to be on it. It would be to weird. And I'm the type of person that I don't want the whole world watching my life on a tv show. Lol unless they were paying a large sum of money and the show program was pretty cool. Other than that I will stick to not being known.

Well, if there is a chance, I don't mind giving a try. Since each family will be different base on their living custom, culture, background and so on. Perhaps doing a wife swap, it makes me appreciate what I have and learn something new or understand the different way to lead my life.

That's good that you would be brave enough to give it a try. :) I wouldn't be able to do it. Yeah we would definitely appreciate our family more after doing something like that. Especially since they switch you up with families that are opposites.

It bothers me how much I enjoy this show. Of coarse as a 25 year old male, I don't tell any of my friends but it's amazingly entertaining. They are really good at getting couples that are polar opposites and mostly fanatical about the way they live their lives. I think the basic criteria is that you have to be slightly crazy and completely closed minded to new ideas. Great show though.

I agree it is entertaining. I enjoy watching it too. I completely agree that the couples they matched are funny because they are completely different.

to me i wud like to give it a chance.it happens to everyone; we r afraid of new things and so to new changes..but its not alwaz that they r horrifying they can be gud for our future. i think the wife swap can be seen on a positive side where we can see the things which we have been doing right & ofcourse appreciate ourself for that and also may be some where we have been wrong..coz very few people can introspect n see their rights and wrong.but here there wud be a family which wil realise our importance, our guds and one will make us realize where we r wrong. so to me it will be an opportunity to learn something new which will help me in taking care of my family in a betterway.

That is a good point that you make. We can learn the areas that we need to make changes in and are proud for all the good that we are doing for our family. And it is often said that the biggest room there is is the room for improvement. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me.
