Hi everyone.. Most often we use emoticons on our posts to express our thought more deeply. There are some emoticons which are rarely used and some are used very often. Do you really put an emoticons to send your proper message? Well, this one when you are snoring how you are able to put this emoticons on your post.lol. and i want to see this face of you hehehe. This emoticon ... okay, you have not seen me and send a hug on post but when you will meet me in person, then will you really hug me? or you just put that emoticon to make your post decorated?

Hiya shibs, Emoticons can be impersonal to some I suppose. I don´t know I either shake hands with Men mostly if they are Family. Depends also if I have known that Person for many Years. Say if I was in Britain I would not normally do that only if the other Person is over reactive against being hugged which there are and I respect that too. It´s normal for People to hug each other here although its becoming less frequent I have noticed. Would I hug you? If you are not against it I would though I would be careful as you might have a Girlfriend that might be just a bit over reactive?. Hugs are hugs to me but always with sincerity. Can be a bit like if People give you a weak handshake same thing if they shake hands weakly I give my strong handshake what else I am going to do. Hey I can also bite as well lol. Just joking.xxx

Hugs with sincerity is always welcomed by everyone. It shows our endearment to our closest persons... does not matter, whether online or offline. Oh, no i have no girl friend till now and not married as well.lol. You better know that.hehe. In case of handshake, i am always strong. Bite? well, i shall send a request to mylot admn too put an emoticon for bite.

Hiya shibs, Sometimes I wonder how I ever belonged to the Family I belonged to. I say belonged that because although I belong for them I don´t. They have put up their signposts "No Sue Wanted Here" lol that´s the way they want it another example see? None of the Family I lived with hug each other more like the opposite would be true. Bite emoticon that would be a good one lol for when you want to say "Grrr" lol. I have always had a very strong handshake except for when I tore a muscle in my shoulder and that was more like ouch, ouch ouch much better now though.xxx Well a few Women can react like that you see I know have a lot of background about that kind of thing without even finding it.xxx

I dont use emoticons and i dont know why but i know a lot of people love using it. I love seeing it after people's post. There is one program i use to watch on tv at home and they sure do make use of a lot of emoticons in it. Even those i didnt know their meanings, i got to know their meaning from there. Its very interesting stuff. Sometimes says little about the person using it.

emotions are some thing which binds peoples of different territory, continents and sountries. emotions are something which derivers human nerves, they allow them to do work more impractically and in some stage of life a person has to follow emotions so that they keep refrainig on their mind. because heart to has a language.

sometimes peoples do not understand the right meaning of the word we say, they interpret the same in some other language, nut smiley can do the tricks , because the expression shows great significance in terms of making responses. they convey so deliberate meaning.

I use emoticons a lot when I am online. I've been only using the smiling one and the laughing one though because the other ones are, like you said, really hard to use when writing a message for other people online. But I will try with the evil grin. I'm a real emoticon addict How's that?

I have never used the "hug" emoticon here. I feel that's a little too personal for the conversations I typically have. I most often use the smiley, the laughter and the cheering because I'm always trying to put a positive spin on things. I use the angry emoticon a lot when I'm discussing politics! But I have never used the "hug".

When I use emoticons it is usually a way to depict how I feel...now as far as a hug when I see you...maybe...it would depend on the situation.

As much as I would use ninja. I would remain within the social norms. But I do hug little kids and elderly ladies. You are a grown up. I would hesitate. Not because I have something else in mind or I dont trust you but because our society expects it of us.

I use this emoticon probably the most, sometimes I would use all three of them in one post because I'm always laughing? Some of the things I say, I don't want the reader to take it too seriously so I always put a "lol" there to show it as just something to be laughed about or just a small joke but nothing serious. The problem with text is that people don't really know your attitude or tone. We don't want to give the wrong message and come off angry or bitter which may offend somebody. Text are quite emotionless unless you can use the right words to express your emotions and attitude to a topic. But I always use emoticons because they're fun, give the right message and make my response look more attractive with the cute little faces. I love their little actions too, makes it more appealing to look at. I actually always use the same emoticons all the time, I never change. Out of all of them, I probably have only used like 4. Now that you mentioned it, I think I'm going to try and use all of them next time, that's my aim now.

Nope, you cant post all the emoticons as i have said , this one. You are already asleep and unable to post it. Its true that all emoticons are meaningful and they bring the real thoughts of us towards a post. have a nice time.

Whenever I use emoticons in my post, I use it along with the message. I have not actually used it just to add colors or decorate my post. Whenever I use the hug emoticons too it would mean that I am happy seeing the mylotter I have never used a lot of the emoticons here, as I have seen it a little inappropriate in my comments.

Definitely emotions give a special touch for our posts. It helps us to convey our feeling. this will always help us to show our friendship. Since I don't have so many close friends here in mylot, I use it very rarely. What about you my dear friend ?

I suppose that, if we were to meet in person, we would both have to accomodate our demostrations of care and friendship in the way it is done in our countries. In my country we hug friends (not a bear hug, but still) when we greet them. I also give them a sort of kiss in one cheek. I have learned here, at mylot, that in India a woman friend is called "sister". We use that to greet our biological sisters only. If you come to my country and we are friends, I will hug you. How about it?

Hi margui.... Nope, it may be in some areas that a female friend is called "sister" but here i dont call female friends the same. Friends are always friends and gender not an issue here. Surely, i am ready to accept your hug and offer you the same and i wish to have a friendly kiss on my cheek. hehehe. Have a nice time.

Hi mamu I am better off with the hugs here I dont use many of these emoticons as I do not connect with them... And I also should mention one important thing - I love and use emoticons just because I love the colors. I many a times dont mean to convey what they are meant to... I messed up once with Saphrina... I used - just because I felt I should nothing by what it conveys... and the great saphrina caught me wrong... Good that she is a great person and friend.
