Make Money Online- Data Entry Websites

There are many scam sites which promise to make you rich quickly but soon swindle your money. But I have seen a lot of testimonials from people in various sites that they make around 3000 - 4000 $ per month in various data entry websites..I personally find this hard to believe , but I would really love to hear from my fellow Mylotters who have had experience in this field to be really convinced. Have any of you tried data entry? Do you know authentic data entry website which is not a scam? How much money do you make per month? And how much time do you spend to earn the money?

Most of the people share their testimonials were virtual models used by scammers i think, they use strong attracting words to lure readers to join the site and invest for the site to earn big income though the site can't give you huge amount of money.

Hmmm I know Flashpointer that is exactly what I am scared off. These testimonials can be fake, but some of them have also put screen shots of their earnings and this is what has confused me.. The screen shots seems legitimate but the amounts absurdly high ..

It is better to join on freelance websites that pays you honestly such as the odesk and elance sites. You know, investing money just to earn big online is just like gambling your savings in a casino that you were not sure if you win or lose.

Totally agreed. Those testimonial is fake, some people will hire other to write lots of testimonial. Those looks true experience is fake! I suppose those site ask people to buy a 20 USD package, for each referral they buy one, upline can share 10 USD. After you paid 20 USD to join and find out the site is like that, you can only: 1. find 2 more to compensate you loss. 2. just give you and loss 20 USD. 3. imagine can get 10 people to join in and earn 80USD. Well, it is gambling and that indeed is not honest earning.

Looking for legit data entry site is really hard. I've one odesk. But it's hard to make sure that your work will be worth it because the transaction is only between the employee and the employer.

Your welcome ash. Looking for a job in odesk is quite hard. I've made an application to lots of data entry jobs there but I'm always rejected. I don't why, my wpm is around 50 and 99 percent accuracy but I'm rejected. That was really bad for me. Anyway, you can try odesk on your own and see it yourself how good odesk is.

Hmmmm Thanks for the info rusale.. I will have to check on odesk a little later as I am concentrating more on avenues for residual income by blogging and posting articles.. Another website that is under my radar is mturks.. So blogging, surveys and mylot for now and those too for later :)

I do some work on mturk.com and really enjoy the various jobs offered. I am disabled and on SSD so we are not allowed to make much on the side as we could lose our Disability pay. So I never shoot for over 1.00 a day 30.00 a month. Here on mylot I just enjoy my friends and discussions and responses and when I make my 2 cents worth daily I am happy. Good luck finding a real online job. It is a struggle. Happy Mylotting and I see you are new so WELCOME TO MYLOT!

I have used more than six data entry websites and finally arrived at the conclusion that using online data entry websites is simply wastage of my time. All those sites I joined did not pay me. They only spammed my email account.

We have same query. I am also in search of Data Entry Websites. I had known few but all of them require to pay registration fees. I think they are all scam. Most companies who ask for registration fee were scam sites. I think I will just end my journey towards finding data entry websites.

That is very right dex that site is very time consuming so even if I am a member I am not able to be there more I have some $10 left there but I am using that site and trying to accumulate a good sum at the end of next year so for me its an yearly income site. And not to worry about payment they are more than genuine.

I think mturk is legit because its main domain is Amazon. You can find at wolfram alpha about the history of websites.

Hello... It is SCAM.. Tell me, what kind of companies would pay $4000 for simple job as data entry??? Here, the data entry operator can make Rs. 7000 or $140 per month... I don't think it is a lot better anywhere in the world... It is perfectly a scam... Don't invest anything in such programs, you'll lose your money... Take care...

Hi mr_pearl I am really grateful for your concern and I am not investing in those 2 sites.. You know when you see such numbers the first thing you realise is that it is made up and a scam and I felt the same too.. But the issue here was the article where I read about these sites was in squidoo ( A site I write for ) and was written by a very well known and a trusted member of the community.. he has also posted his screen shots of his transactions and also the money getting deposited in his paypal.. This is what has got me thinking whether it is possible!!

If you are talking about data entry and secretary or PA job online. I can only think of odesk. Give it a try. I do not really like labor driven income. I prefer residual income like online writing and blogging. Cheers.

Yes arcideaco I too prefer blogging and writing articles and the residual income has slowly started coming in. ( I am very close to payout in a few sites :) ).. But I just came across data entry in one article and wanted to clarify if it was true.

I agree with what others are saying that most of those sites are scam. I am getting paid by data entry on oDesk, but for only $2 an hour. I didn't have to pay anything for it. There is no point paying to get a job!

hmmmm damned_dle you are one among the many friends here who have recommended odesk to me and I will take a look.. And I also share the same feeling that there is no use putting money out of your pocket as there is always a chance that these sites can be scam and we will really hen regret our decision

Hello Ashwin, Though i have not tried any data entry online job but i have seen these and most of these sites ask for money to register on them which i don't feel is good to get work from them.I thought of joining them when i started online stuffs but then all MYLOT friends suggested me not to join them as most of them are scammers and don't pay for the work so i did not join them.

Hmmmm sjvg1976 just like you my fellow mylotters have enlightened me too to not make a huge mistake in investing in these scam sites.. I was really tempted but then that is their ploy right!!

i try data entry and i prove to my self that they are scammers. They did pay my works. I waste my time doing those fake jobs. I will not try to join again that kind of work.

You can find legit data entry jobs at freelancing sites such as Freelancer, oDesk and Elance. But you have to be very careful about the credibility of the outsourcer. About the testimonial part: it is really funny. Just go to fiverr.com and there you will find hundreds of people willing to do even a video testimonial for just $5.

Thank you for the info boyuancy and as for the testimonials what caught my attention was the screen shots of their earnings in the programme.. When I usually see such testimonials I ignore but the screen shots of their monthly earnings and the deposits into paypal is what has got me thinking if it is true
