How to gain some meat but not on tummy

Well, I'm currently weight at 53kg. I'm actually a little skinny and I would really like to gain some meat on other parts of my body but not tummy. This is because I would like train my body a bit to have a little good shape as man. However, when I eat more and more, it's only my tummy that grows. Not a lot, and several days later it will be gone. So is there any advise on this matter?
