Do you like to eat rabbit?

Rabbits are cute animals. Kids love them and make them pets. They're so cute and funny, and that's why me and my kids won't eat them, only my husband did. He said rabbits are delicious, he's favorite meal is rabbit barbeque satay (grill them on skewer). I disagree even I've never tasted one.

I am thinking of raising rabbits for food and fur. I will use as much fur as I can and sell the rest. the meat will either be eaten by my family or by friends. I hope that I can make some money by selling live rabbits to other people that want them either as pets of food. If it goes well, it will cut the cost of meat that we normally pay for.

Of course it's your choice to eat rabbit, after all animals are provided for human to eat and use their part. Thanks for the response and good luck with your new business.

We don't eat rabbits very often here. Normally we just eat beef, pork, chicken, fish and other seafood. I can't find something special for the rabbit meat. It is not much difference than pork in my opinion.

My husband shoots with his friend and they are for ever shooting rabbits.My husband would eat it if he had the chance, but i will not have rabbit in the house or my freezer.The rabbits that him and his friend kills end up at a friends house, as they eat them.I also have a rabbit as a pet, or should i say its my sons rabbit, so that is why i do not like the idea as i think of rabbits as pets.

Me too, I haven't tried to eat rabbit and I never will. I feel pity about this cute animal...I'd rather have one to be my pet... :-)

I think we can't eat meat of pet animals reared in our home, in whatever style it is prepared. Some sort of intimacy brings concerns in mind,after killing them for meat.Rabbits, especially are very innocent pets.

I would never ate my pets, so were my little girl's. But if we live on the farm that's was a different one. Thanks for the response.

Rabbits are really cute little animals.Some people like them to be pet at home.Haven't experience and don't even try to it eat ever.Some people do eat it and say that it is taste like chicken.But for,I'm hesitant to try it.

it depends how you cook it.
one of my favourite is when it's braised in a fruit sauce. it leaves it really tender and tasty.
it is a bit like a cross between chicken and duck.
it's a darker meat than chicken, and has a similar sweetness to duck, but a very poultry like texture,

I really don't know the taste because I haven't try one. My husband said they're really yummy. I think they're must be, but I prefer not to. Thanks for the response.

I have rabbits before. I think i'm 17 years old at that time, They are so cute. I buy them they are still a baby and they grew up bigger than a cat. Because i'm always at school I don't have enough time to take good care of them so my grad father is the one that take good care of them when i'm leaving the house until one day I can't see my rabbit anymore. My grandfather said that they already cook my rabbit and it really taste good. I cry at that time because he never ask me if its okay for me to kill my lovable rabbit. I love my rabbits so much.
