It´s so Easy if You Know How to Do it..

For several months my printer has not worked - when I tried to do something there was this Error mark blinking and after some time I gave up. Today I had a friend here who knows more than I about the technique and she tested it and pushed some buttons and had a look at the ink cartridges and suddenly the printer spitted out a copy that I tried to print months ago!! The thing seemed to be that I had not pushed the OK button after correcting the cartridges..and then she did some routine thing, that I now know how to do it..I think..to speed up my computer.. Now she could print a translation she had with her after I helped her with the translating.. We both benefited - that is the beauty of people knowing different things and cooperating to help each other.. Have you got help with something that anoter person knew exactly what to do and you didn´t..??

Hello! I'm a friend who advised Buenavida and she helped me to translate the English text correctly, because I'm not such a good writer in the English language. Thank you very much to you, Buenavida :-)

I know what you mean, buenavida, amiga. I have to learn a lot of the new computer things. For a while I did not buy the new gadgets and then I discovered that I did not understand this world anymore. Yesterday one of my mylot friends sent me a book I wanted to read to my computer. My brother told me to put it in a pentdrive and give it to him so he would print it and return it in book shape so that I could read in bed. I had forgotten how to put and take out the thing!!! But today, a friend of mine came for lunch and I had my lesson. I am a bit less ignorant than yesterday YIPPEE

Congratulations mi amiga! It is a good thing to have a network of friends. We can all help each other with what we know! At least I know you can make food for your family and friends, and not everyone can do that..

Today, another friend came over to get some apricots, arugule and an aromatic herb I have. We had a nice moment together and she brought me a book I wanted to read as a present. I do have a good network of friends. I think I will eat all week with what my friend brought for lunch yesterday.

I am lucky enough to have a friend who seems to be able to do anything, he fixes my computer, my car, anything in my house and he even fixed my camera when I was told it would cost me about $300 to be fixed by the company, he just fiddled with it and it was fixed...i wish I could be that clever.

Hi, lilaclady Some of us have the fixing talent.. But I am sure you have talents that not everybody has, so no problem. We are different and we can help each other.. It´s good thing you could get that camera fixed!!

I am my client's "geek" and the roomie is our "geek" and when things get out of her league, we call our real "geek". But don't ask the roomie to match colors...

We can´t be good at everything.. It´s great that you have a "real geek" to call when things get out of hand.. Take care..

Sad to say, it is usually the other way around.

I help a lot of people and get a lot of help back, too. Today a friend bought me a very nice steak dinner at my favorite restaurant. Yesterday I fixed his plumbing. :-) What comes around goes around. PS your avatar is beautiful. Did you take that picture?

Great! Both of you benefited from each other Different printers have different functions. I had the same problem before when I was new in my previous company. We're using a big HP laser printer that has too many functions. I've spent a lot of time trying to figure out why it's not spweing out my printout. And an officemate just press that "Start" button and my documents came out one by one. While I help them about computer stuff - shortcuts, making this and that on the computer, researching things related to our work, putting back their connection to the printer.

Yeah, sounds wonderful.. The technical things are kind of too complicated for many of us, but you seem to be good at computers and now the printer is working too..
