When I was a child, I do not like the taste of ice tea. My throat soared easily when I drank ice tea. I am happy now that I am beginning to like ice tea and my throat do not soar when I drink it. I think ice tea is the best substitute to the addiction of drinking soft drinks. What do you think about it my dear friends and fellow mylotters? What could be the benefits I could derive upon drinking ice tea?

The first benefit that I can think of in drinking iced tea as opposed to drinking soft drinks is the fact that there is a lot less sugar in iced tea than there is in soda, even if you drink it southern style sweet like I do. Additionally, tea is a natural diuretic, which means that your body is less likely to retain water if you drink tea on a regular basis. Finally, tea is something that quenches your thirst and that is definitely always a benefit.

I think tea is good for many things we just all take for granted, I think it is a good thing for your nervouse system and our bodies run on our nerves, I guess that is one reason people say 'go make yourself a cuppa" whenever anyone is under stress.
