I remember the glorious era of Nokia phone with their symbian OS. They dominated market share all around the world. Now, Android and Iphone has conquer the smartphone market and Nokia seems behind due to they insist not to use google android OS and stick with symbian, until they planned to collaborate with Intel to use their MeeGO OS. However, suddenly Nokia cut this cooperation and decided to join Microsoft to utilize Windows phone OS. Now, Nokia depends on Windows phone OS to compete with Android and Iphone..I think it will takes time and difficult to them since Android has developed and always improving their OS, same thing with Iphone..What do you think? Do you think Nokia has good chance to compete with Android and Iphone in the future?

i think nokia made many mistakes because they never chose their os for their devices for many years and in the while other brands had time to develop their solutions and os too!!So probably the competitor of android as regards nokia existed as maemo an open source os developed many years ago and really functional and available on n500 as the last device having this os...naturally it needs to refresh their features and graphc to compete but it was possible for me...nokia on the contrary delete all past os as symbian, maemo, meego to jump into windows phone probably it can be a choice but may be they had the possibility to build something different..

I think Nokia should considering joining the Android wagon...because we have to accept the fact that the time of Symbian OS is already over and that Android is the new thing...Nokia's move to adapt Windows for their smartphone is I think not a wise decision considering that Windows phones are quite expensive enough compared to the Android phones which are affordable in the market today...thus many people buy it.

In fact,I don't look good to Nokia. If meego has a nice connection with Window of computer,it may have a chance to survive. But untile now,I still think android and ios would be the two of the most popular in the world.

it seems that nokia may have a good come back with their windows phones . I personally think that Symbian has become outdated now. it has many problems like hang up, restart , easily affected by junk files etc. but the hardware that nokia is very good. no other company provides such quality hardware at the same price. if nokia improves it's software ( O.S. ) than it will surely rule the market again.
