It's 2012

I watched the clock hit midnight on Dec. 31st and texted a few friends "Happy New Year" and went to bed. This morning I realized it is 2012. It will be a time of a little reflection which will probably continue for a few days or weeks. The past year was tough. We didn't have any physical or health issues to deal with, but financial issues cause their own stress. Higher prices, fewer hours causing less income, and a daughter struggling despite working 2 jobs, all contributed to an underlying worry that has become the norm. I've watched the change in the "economy" as well as the business I've worked in for the past 30 years change dramatically in the past 3 years. There has been a consistent decline over that time that was at first curious, then worrisome and now has become disturbing. I can only think it is a new day, a new year, and a new beginning. Surely we have experience the low point and a turnaround is about to begin. That will be what I will pray and believe for. So to all who read this...Happy New Year!

Hey! How are ya? Best wishes for the coming year. Can't type much as Harmony is sitting on my left wrist in front of the keyboard.

Happy New Year to you, too estherlou. A turnaround would be nice as many people find themselves in hard times.
