Would you sign Carlos Tevez

The transfer windowm is open and Carlos Tevez is being linked with a move to AC Milan. After his antics at Manchester City when he refused to come on as a substitute would you sign him for your team. Personally i would not as he seems to have a negative impact on the team morale and i do not think that he could get in Stoke Citys team anyway :)

Carlos Tevez is a genius, and Mancini is stupid enough to let him go. It was Tevez who got me hooked to Manchester City. Infact, it was Tevez who gave City the look of a champion team. We all know Mancini has some ego issues with Tevez. All top players have ego problems and its upto the manager to deal with them. If Wayne Rooney was in some other team, say under Mancini, then he would hardly have gotten some play time. Remember Sir Alex did a lot to mold Rooney in to a champion. Though I dont want to be harsh, but any one who thinks Tevez will not make in to Stoke City's team must have very little or outdated knowledge about soccer. The reason no one is buying Tevez is because of the cost. In Maradonna's words "tevez is the GOD of football"

How can you say that Mancini is stupid enough to let him go when he refused to come on to the pitch. He is a decent player but it is no good having someone who refuses to play just because he was on the bench. He can not be so much of a genius as he spent most of his time at Old Trafford on the bench as well.

I think both the Milan Clubs, AC Milan and Inter Milan are lining up to get him. Personally I tend to agree with you that I would really be careful in signing him considering his influence in clubs so far. Of course, both clubs are hoping that he would have learnt from both these experiences would improve. Cheers! Ram

This is a tough question. Tevez is a great player and will give his all on the field. However, his off-field antics can disrupt the team harmony. Maybe a short loan deal would be ideal.
