Value of Kindness

Mark Twain said "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see". Man has nothing to lose to invest little bit of kindness and he can reap a ric h harvest. If we observe we can see that even the animals show kindness. Even the animals show kindness towards a small child. At times the life conditions may force us to say, kindness is a weapon of a coward, a poor or a wek person. But in effect kindness is so much powerful even to convert a hard sinner and change his life for better permanently. Once George Washington Carver said " be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and tolerant of the weak and strong. The one who uses kindness is the real wise man. Kindness is like the sweet fragrance, people will surround you to have a glympse of your kindness. A kind word and a compassionate smile is a piercing sword to the evil doer, even a worse enemy will bend down towards the kind person. Once a lady was living alone and during the midnight the robbers came to steal the chicken. The lady heard the sound and said: " Friends, actually this hour is meant to sleep but you are roaming around. I understand. You must be without job. So you are here to take away my chicken. Your wish. But I pray for you that you may get a job very soon and take good rest during the night". All the sound ceased. And the lady went to sleep. The next morning she found that none of her chickens were missing. The similar story is the same else where. The brigands went to steal in an Institute. They were all ladies. The Headmistress presented herself boldly and said " You must be very hungry. First have lunch with us then proceed" The brigands had nice dinner. They did not harm anyone. From that day onwards they started protecting that school. Often man is compelled to practice violence because his values have been violated and rights have been denied. But if we show a little more kindness, they can turn to be a great asset. Man is not evil in himself.
