Martha Stewarts show on life time is being dropped. How do you feel about that?

I just heard that the Hallmark channel is dropping Martha Stewart's show. That is kind of sad to me. I don't watch it that often but when I have the time I like to turn it on. How do you feel about the show being cancelled? Have you ever watched any of her shows over the years? Do you enjoy those types of shows?

It makes me very happy. She is a criminal, a boss who treats her employees, etc. very badly, a know it all with know reason to be, just an all around unlikeable person.

I never thought about it that way.

Unless you have met and worked for her, I don't see how you can say that and her criminal issue...she went to jail for that..and if she'd been a man...she wouldn't even have been "caught". SHe is in a man's world and they don't want her there. But she served her time and paid the price. It was just insider trading...like no one has ever done that before? Yeah, right. SHe just got caught...the others haven't yet. And as far as employee treatment...I'd venture to say from what I have heard here and there...all big companies like hers...the employers treat their personell badly. THey have their self-righteous noses so far up in the air if it rains, they will drown. That's the way it is in big corporate business. Heck, that's the way it is in little business. I have worked for many companies..and because I was the low end of the salary scale, I was treated like a "red-headed step child". Not saying it is right, but just that ...I don't stop enjoying her shows and magazines and such because she is on the self righteous side. I don't buy her stuff as it is to expensive!

I have too. I even bought a couple of them over the years. She is really detailed in her books.

I have never watched her show on the Hallmark Channel. Years ago, I watched her show and some of her ideas were really great. I'm so busy during the day that I seldom watch any television at that time.

I love her shows. I can never find the time they are on, but watch when I do. They are probably being dropped cause of the new "fad" of show like The Chew and and those kinds and all the cooking shows. I wonder why they don't have more craft shows..they used to, but they all disspeared in recent years. But I always enjoyed Martha's shows. I have her magazine subscription, but will miss the shows. maybe she could make her own niche of just crafts, homemade stuff etc since people are now doing alot of that since economy is tight. I'd be a fan!

No I don't really watch her. I am kind of young though and I don't really do any of the things that she teaches yet. I hope when I get my own home someday though that there will be someone like her around so that I can learn things like how to cook and cool little household tricks and such. Right now though that is just not what I am in to.

I haven't watched her show in many, many years. I can't stand her demeanor. She seems so cocky and full of herself. It really annoys me. I like watching Rachel Ray much more. She is much more amicable. I like those types of show, but I don't like Martha Stewart.
