guy i have a doubt, "" defferentiation used for finding slpe of a curve and integration is used for finding the area """ is this statement is true or false ???? if false what is correct statement ???

Differentiation gives the formula which defines the slope of a curve at any given point; integration calculates the area under a curve (usually between given points).

Integration is generally means combining parts together to make it a whole.
Differentiation is generally means breaking up of the parts of a whole body
